We all know that grinding often takes some dedication. Levelling up your character or taking part in the endless search for better loot is fortunately something that Diablo III gets right, as it makes the inevitable grind an enjoyable experience thanks to addictive combat and numbers that just keep going up.
We were under the impression that our close-to-one-hundred paragon level was moderately impressive, but we're no longer too sure about that. A player by the name of Nokieka has stormed past paragon level 1000, which is impressive enough, but then you realise that they've done it on hardcore mode, too.
For those who aren't in the know, Diablo III's hardcore mode means that death is permanent; once your health reaches zero, you're dead for good, and you can no longer use that character.
It's a rather astounding achievement considering the patience that must have been required, but we don't want to think about how much time it must have taken to reach such glorious heights. How many hours have you put into Blizzard's creation? Follow us into the depths of Hell known as the comments section below.

@Deadstanley Even getting to 70 on hardcore feels like a chore to me. Witch Doctor seems a bit risky for a hardcore class as well. Mine can do Torment 6 just fine until a pack of reflect elites comes along.... still struggling to figure out a solution to that problem... a solution that isn't "play my monk or demon hunter instead".
And I thought getting all the classes to level 70 was a chore.
Borderline insanity
Ive died twice and I'm level 22 on normal. Not even passed the first act. Think that dudes slightly better than me.
If you play hardcore on normal you will never die too...
I'm trying to avoid Blizzard games atm, it's all too easy to lose hours/days grinding. The reason I'm so far behind on a lot of PS3 games is from spending way too much time on WoW.
