This week was all about the blockbusters, as we spent most of our time solving a global crisis in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. That wasn’t the only big game absorbing our attention over the past seven days, though, as Rockstar Games also made a series of announcements regarding the PlayStation 4 port of Grand Theft Auto V. Oh, and we also heard a few tantalising comments about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. See, it’s not all indie games...
Revews
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - 8/10
Punchy, futuristic weapons, even faster gameplay, and additional agility make Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare a joy to play, both offline and online. With a campaign that features several spectacular scenarios and a brilliantly robust and incredibly moreish multiplayer offering, Sledgehammer Games has succeeded in crafting a title that feels fresh but familiar, and does just enough to put the franchise back on track after the disappointing Call of Duty: Ghosts.
WWE 2K15 - 6/10
WWE 2K15 on the PS3 is very much a clone of last year’s offering. There are a couple of new game modes that you can run through in a day, and it’s nice to see NXT finally represented, but its failure to evolve in spite of the PS4 edition is a kick in the teeth for last-gen players. In the immortal words of Owen Hart: “Enough is enough, and it’s time for a change.”

What's the Status of DriveClub on PS4 a Month After Release?
DriveClub has undoubtedly been the biggest disappointment of the year. While you could make a case for the likes of Watch Dogs and Destiny failing to deliver on their pre-release hype, at least both titles launched in a playable state – the latter succeeding despite the entire gaming industry expecting Bungie’s online focus to bite it in the bum. The same hasn’t been true of Evolution Studios’ next-gen debut, which is still busted a month removed from its initial release.
Feature: Say Hello to Two of Sony's Aussie PS4 Indies
Sony loves indies. It’s a slogan which, for better or worse, has come to shape the Japanese giant’s business strategy in recent months. These smaller experiences have been used to plug holes in the inevitable first year software drought, while also seeing a mini-renaissance on PlayStation Plus’ Instant Game Collection. Whether you love or loathe these lower budget titles, their critical and commercial prominence can’t be denied.

Grand Theft Auto V Goes First-Person on PlayStation 4
You’ll soon be able to see Los Santos through the bleary eyes of Trevor, Michael, or Franklin, as Grand Theft Auto V’s rumoured first-person mode is very much a reality. The addition has been a source of speculation for some time, but with publisher Rockstar Games remaining frustratingly quiet about the PlayStation 4 re-release, it’s taken until now to be officially acknowledged.
Injustice, inFAMOUS: First Light, and More Coming Soon to PlayStation Plus on PS4
Sony’s heard your pleas regarding PlayStation Plus and finally seems ready to power up the service now that the PlayStation 4 is a year or so old. Writing on the European PlayStation Blog, the platform holder has confirmed the next-gen lineup for December and January – and while there are still a couple of (great) indie games present, we’ve no doubt that you’ll be paying attention to the blockbuster names.
Eye Witness Claims Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Looks 'Scarily Real' on PS4
You should take everything that you read on the Internet with a pinch of salt – especially when it comes from a superfan speaking to a Norwegian blog. Do you remember the brilliant Uncharted: Ambushed fan movie from a few weeks back? Well, it caught the attention of Naughty Dog, and maker Martin Sofiedal was invited to drop by at the Californian company’s office as a result. It’s there that he apparently got an early look at Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Sony May Not Cede November PS4 Sales to Xbox One After All
The folks over in Redmond are playing price limbo with the Xbox One, and that puts Sony in a precarious position. Having already smashed September sales records with its Destiny bundle, the platform holder doesn’t necessarily need to price the PlayStation 4 any lower – but it suddenly finds itself with the most expensive console on the market in North America, and may need to react as a result.
What Will the DualShock 4's Light Bar Do in Grand Theft Auto V PS4?
The novelty of the DualShock 4’s light bar appears to have worn off a touch since we reported on Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition’s ridiculous implementation, but Rockstar Games is a perfectionist, and so it’s decided to implement some extra features specifically for Sony’s next-gen machine. One "bonus" is that your controller’s light bar will flash blue and red when you’re in a police chase. Ahem.

So, How Does Grand Theft Auto V PS4 Look in First-Person?
While we’re used to the trailers from Rockstar Games being cinematic affairs, the publisher has bucked that trend for this Grand Theft Auto V first-person footage. Instead, the company’s opted to showcase the upcoming PlayStation 4 re-release in its rawest form – and it’s looking pretty spectacular to say the least.

I guess im one of the few that really liked ghost. Im liking AW a lot though too. Only been toying around with multiple player, local play with the bots. Going to get ps+ sometime before Christmas.
CoD-AW was ok during the initial release but now it's barely playable atleast for me.
