North American PlayStation Plus Goes Beat 'em Up Bonkers

If you’re looking for a source of stress relief ahead of the long winter months, PlayStation Plus has got you covered. Sony has announced that button bashers Double Dragon: Neon and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will be added to the premium service’s Instant Game Collection in North America from 11th September. That means you’ll be able to punch a neverending procession of goons without needing to spend a cent – or getting arrested, either.

The brawlers will be joined by exclusive early access to Jet Set Radio HD, which will launch a week early on PlayStation Plus. Members will also get a 10% discount, making the title’s already generous $9.99 price-point a smidgeon more attractive at $8.99.

Finally, from tomorrow, subscribers will be able to snap up the recently released Max Payne 3 at 33% off – making it just $40.49. There’ll be a discount on the title’s DLC bundle too, which features the full game and all of its expansion packs for just $60.74.

I'm trying my hardest to wait for the Vita version of Jet Set Radio, but $9.99 is SOOO cheap for how awesome the game is... Decisions, decisions...

Is Double Dragon Neon a re-skinned TMNT game? It looks and plays just like it.

The demo for Scott Pilgrim was simple multiplayer fun so we'll probably play that one, though your review is right, it controlled kind of wonky, especially compared to Castle Crashers which we got at about the same time. If th eboses get too hard at the end we'll probably just stop though.

I think I still have Jet Set Radio sitting next to my Dreamcast so no sale there.
