Evening all, hope everyone is doing well! I've been pretty much inactive on here for a little while now, as I'm busy at work, totally swamped with studying, and in the little free time I've had I've been trying to find some time to, you know, actually "push square"! But I really wanted to share an update on something else that's been going on with me!
Some of you will remember I posted a while back about going sober for 6 months for charity. Well, that's nearly done now - less than a week until I get to taste my first beer in half a year, and I can't wait! It's not been easy, especially birthday / Christmas / New Years, but it's been so worth it - I've raised a load of cash for a great cause, and done some pretty cool stuff in the meantime, like beginning to get in shape, and also working towards going back to education! We're putting on a gig next Saturday to celebrate reaching the end, where I'll be drinking for the first time in 6 months. Absolutely can't wait, it should be a top night (whatever I end up remembering of it)!
Hope this post is ok, as I'm not interested in advertising, just wanted to share my success, especially as there were a few people on here who have donated so I figured would appreciate an update! I also wanted to share the awesome poster a friend of mine has done for the gig:

Congrats man!!! What an accomplishment. I would try to give up drinking, but I already quit smoking and other recreational things, an I need one vice lol. But yeah great job man.
