Hi guys, I need some help for a friend of mine please.

He is looking to get a set of gaming headphones with surround sound for use with console (Xbox One to be precise) and I hoped that you guys might be able to help?

Thanks

The XO7s from Turtle Beach are great at surround sound and they work perfectly well on both Xbox and PS4 - although they are Xbox branded. I think I will be looking for an Atmos enabled headset soon for my Xbox but the XO7's are decent enough to detect which direction noise is coming from - whether that's enemy footsteps or even audio clues to a loot box/hidden object.

Price is reasonable too - or at least it was when I bought a number of years ago now - back before the XB1 dropped the 'adaptor' that was required. Probably within the first 6months the console had been out for. They are not wireless or as customisable as some headsets but do what I expected a decent Headset to do.

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

I have been looking at getting a pair of Astro Gaming headset myself for the PS4 but they also make them for the One. They have different varieties at different price ranges with various options to fit your gaming needs.
