The Terminator... but only just.

What's a game that is highly praised but you think is overrated?

There was a game idea here. It's gone now.

@Churchy: The Last of Us. It was a great cover shooter, but I honestly didn't care for the story, and it did get a little stale by the end.

Have you ever read Ready Player One? If so, what do you think of it?

Never read it - although I looked it up on Wikipedia to find out what it is. Sounds really good and well worth a read.

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

I've always loved arcade racing games, and the standout for me is Burnout 3: Takedown. Nigh-on flawless.

What was/is your favourite game to play in an old school arcade?

@Quintumply: If we are talking the 'old' school coin-op arcades, Star Wars - the wire frame, take on the Death Star cabinet arcade machine was probably the one that took most of my money. I enjoyed Space Harrier, Afterburner, Operation Wolf, House of the Dead, Out Run and Gauntlet (Valkyrie needs food...) as well. In fact many games in this era were 'favourites' and would change quite frequently. I spent a lot on Space Invaders, Missile Command and Asteroids because these were often the only one available in the early days.

Do you prefer 3rd or 1st person (in general) games?

So many but the one that I can think of right now is Sylvanas Windrunner from the Warcraft series. Just something about her story I just enjoy. The fall of a once great hero to now how she has to fight for survival for her and her race.

What was the first video game you ever played?

Pong back in the 70's. I also remember playing Space Invaders and Asteroids in the arcades. One of the first 'games' I remember playing at home was Donkey Kong on my Dads BBC micro B computer. Its all a bit blurry in terms of time, order etc and I may have played other games first but don't remember them or the order in which I played them. I also had a number of hand held video games too.

Do you look specifically for certain 'brands' or do you go with what's best at the time? For example do you only buy Nike, Sony etc or would you buy other brands if they are 'better' value, features etc

I tend to go with the best value, although I stick with a value brand that's compitable to a name brand.

Do you tend to eat out more or eat at home more?

@Tasuki: Eat at home more. Way cheaper, and home cooking is often a lot nicer than restaurant food. I do love eating at restaurants, though!

Not sure if this counts, the dragon I created in LittleBigPlanet (one of my favorite games). Seeing it come to life was an awesome.
Another one was a mask decal I created in Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel. Got some really nice feedbacks on that too.

Favorite mech game?

MechAssault 2 but Titanfall had some great game-play - ruined by a few aspects but the game-play was great. More often than not though I left my Titan in AI mode.

Do you think Spawn would make a great Superhero game - like Batman Arkham series?
