I don't know what it was, I loaded an old save and played about an hour and a half of catch up.....it started after I killed the "serial killer" in the city and got my hair cut, lol......didn't cut my hair the second run through and everything worked fine.

Reguardless of that episode, this is still my favorite gaming experince since 2013....I hope the Witcher 3 sells well, it deserves it, seems like the title has had quite a bit of positive word of mouth already.

I've been playing about 8 hours straight today. Honestly, I'm not LOVING it, though it's certainly better than average. I'm sure it'll get more interesting as it's clearly a case of getting out what you put in.

Of course this is just my opinion and I can see a lot of people are really enjoying themselves.

Anybody else run into this?

Maybe it's just overweight? Try to drop or sell some heavy items.

This. If you carry too much stuff you can't run anymore. Buy a bigger saddle bag will increase how much you can carry.

Also have to make sure its equipped - buying doesn't automatically equip it! First one you get holds an extra 30 units of weight. The biggest I have seen and have though increases it by 70

A pessimist is just an optimist with experience!

Why can't life be like gaming? Why can't I restart from an earlier checkpoint??

Feel free to add me but please send a message so I know where you know me from...

The biggest one I have came across increased it by 100. It was like 900 some coin but worth it... I want to say it was a merchant right before you meet up with Triss for the first time but could be wrong.

I was overweight with goods, feel like an ass.

One guy in the Nintendo forum made a comment that the general scope, but detail as well, of this game, etc, makes it feel like, that game that you always kind of dreamed about.....visualized it in your mind, but never thought it would actually be created.

I kinda agree with that sentiment.

A question for those further on, would you complete all secondary quests before heading to skellige, or don't worry about it? I fear some may dissappear, and I'm right at that point.

I have reached the point of the opportunity to travel to Skellige but haven't done so. The recommended level is 16 and after LOTS of hours (50+) I am still only Level 15. As I am playing on 'Blood and Broken Bones' difficulty, I have been doing a lot of the other quests to level up before I go there. So far I have only failed one side quest as I was following one quest which opened up a side quest but I carried on doing the one I started and after completing that, it meant the Side quest could not be completed.

I don't know if there is a way to do a Spoiler or how to do it if there is one so I won't say here. However in answer to your question, I haven't been to Skellige myself so don't know if any quests will disappear. I haven't noticed those from 'White Orchard' disappear although I only have a Treasure Hunt left there. I have revisited White Orchard to see how my actions have changed things and try and find the power stones for extra points to level up my abilities.

I'm not sure when or how but the clock that keeps track of how long you have played the game started over for me? It's not the end of the world but kinda lame. I was closing in on 40 hours and now it is saying I'm around 13...

I'm also at the point where I can travel to Skellige but haven't. I always try to do whatever I can in an area before moving on.

I found another glitch - if you put points into delusion skill, then puppet skill will not work no matter what you do.

Hmm looks like the 1.3 update is live now, just downloaded it. Wonder if it helps frame rate...loads the bog

Still so early in the game. Finally took down the Griffin on Blood and Broken Bones difficulty. Absolutely enamored with the game and the difficulty makes the challenge rewarding.

The voice work in this game is really well done. Even the NPC's that have small parts are good. Having not played the first two games I wasn't crazy about Geralt's voice before I played it but now that I have I find his voice very fitting.

I'm pretty sure that I dropped 15-20 frames when the Griffin swooped down over my head. A total shame. The game's fun but the framerate is really annoying at times.

Yes its doing my head in outside of White Orchard, I'm pushing on because the game is really good but I can't believe they thought it was okay as is. Try fights in a foggy swamp against 3 enemies...urgh.

framerate is bad ? that sucks, hopefully they patch it !

i decided to go for 30 fps on my PC (that means everything on Ultra), the frame-pace its so well done that it feels super good at 30fps, when a game gets it right... its pretty good.

I know we Pc gamers can get a little too jerky with the FPS stuff (60 its really better by the way), but its mostly because developers never do it 100% right, when a game refreshes 33.3ms ALWAYS, it works really good, but most of the times its a mess of screen tearing with weird refreshes

Finished the game

In terms of sidequest, story, emotions and everything

it makes Bioware games look like childs play. I cried, I laughed, I stared in disbelief.

Only 1 more thing to say, coming from the witcher 1... "it was one hell of a ride Geralt" :')

I couldn't get into this for the first few hours but it's really starting to click with me now. I'm not a fan of the controls in the slightest, but some of the conversations are really great.

The controls could be tighter but better than GTA's/Red Deads for sure. In terms of responsive third person controls I guess Bloodborne and, I'd argue to a greater extent, MGS5 take the prize.
