Does anyone know if PS1 games are compatible with the PS4 Console?

Ok thanks. Are there any consoles that could play a PS1 game?

@Lossarapter All models of PS2 and PS3 can play PSone discs.

If playing a PSone game on PS2, you'll need an original PSone memory card to save your progress, whereas the PS3 can create virtual memory cards when required.

You can also play digital versions of a select few PSone games on PSP and PS Vita, as well as PS3, if you purchase and download them from the PlayStation Network.

So if I get a PS2 I could play PS1 Quake 2 game on it without problems you think?

@Lossarapter There are rare instances of specific compatibility issues, but Quake II doesn't appear on any of the known lists, so it should work, yeah.

If you're interested in checking any more games, here is the list I found.
