Man, just started playing this and what a disappointment. The handling is terrible, the cars feel like they have no weight (had to turn the handling from 7 down to 2 just to stop veering all over the place) and opponents seem to magically skitter around the track. No music in- game ruins the atmosphere of an arcade racer. It looks like burnout, just completely misses the mark.
Love to see the handling updated and music added but I doubt that will happen with such a small team.
Australian store on mobile. Added ps3 amplitude to my library from psplus then searched for ps4 amplitude on the store and downloaded it for free. Is this supposed to be cross buy?
@Ginkgo Wow, you totally just reminded me that the PSP used to have an itunes style application on the PC for syncing games and even game saves! What the hell happened sony?
Just finished downloading this after getting it in the xmas sale. Planning on playing it with the GF as she loves horror (although that means it will take longer). Really pumped now!
Always meant to get around to this one. I'll get the PS4 version if I can find it for cheap enough. Might wait a little while for the price to drop as I've already waited this long.
Did anyone else notice that Crisis Core (FF7) was an awesome game? I would like to see that remade for the Vita with a slightly overhauled battle system to make it less clunky. At the very least the psp version needs to be on the store for Vita as my UMD playing PSP died a long time ago. (what an amazing Soundtrack that game had!)
Well written but it kinda feels like the score doesn't match the review. After reading through the many positives and few minor negatives I was expecting to see an 8 at the bottom. Oh well, I may be a little bias as I've always loved these games.
Hey that's true. (although Australia didn't get the coloured controllers....) I haven't picked up a charging station yet. I want one that plugs into a wall socket so I don't use up the PS4 usb ports. Does anyone know how the official Sony one is powered? Otherwise I will get a 3fd party one.
Anyone else notice that Europe and Australia get shafted again with the camera? Americans get the camera stand included while everyone else has to purchase it separately...... I'm actually getting used to getting shafted these days.
Speaking to the dude at my local (tiny) EB while picking up my PS4. They had over a hundred preorders and thirty consoles come in. Guess lots of people were disappointed . (still had xbones on the shelf!)
Walked straight in to eb games in Australia. Picked up my preordered PS4, camera, extra controller, NFS and Killzone. It's all working perfectly so pretty happy.
