CES is famed for the weird and wacky technological inventions which take to its showfloor, and PC company Origin has just gone and delivered a corker. Not to be mixed up with EA's Origin service, the hardware producer has managed to combine a gaming PC with the PlayStation 4 Pro -- meaning you can buy the two devices at once. Prices start at $2500 before customisation of the rig even begins, but the fact that Sony's current-gen system will be shipped to you inside the desktop's case is the real talking point here.
Although, you're not going to simply unearth a PS4 Pro if you take the casing apart. The console has been rebuilt to take the PC's outer structure into account with a single water cooling system used to keep the two in check. "Maximize your gameplay with the all-new ORIGIN PC BIG O hybrid gaming desktop. By combining the power and performance of a custom PC with a gaming console, the BIG O lets you experience the best games from both platforms " is how Origin pitches the expensive purchase on its official website.
It's quite an interesting proposition indeed, but is it something you would consider buying for yourself? Is there untapped potential here? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Wow just after I bought a new pc not that I could afford this
So is Sony licensing out the ability to make a ps4 to them?
Eh, it’s a whole lot cheaper to source the goods yourself making a PC for gaming and it’s pretty fun too. This is all a bit strange but if you have the money then I guess it’s a timesaver to be able to instantly play PC and PS4 games.
Seems a bit unnecessary but ok
Chad, when called about this fantastic news, paused for a moment and then said; "Ok".
Building your own PC is a simple pleasure. Very enjoyable, and it's a lot cheaper. I haven't done it in a while due in part to the fact I don't game on PC much anymore...
Misinformed comments about being 'now able to play PS4 games natively on PC' coming in 3, 2, 1...
Wow playing ps games natively on PC. Get in!
Hahahahahaha, not a new concept though, reminds me of the old Amstrad mega pc.
A 386 and a mega drive in one unit! That's power!
