I don't get it. If you want an Xbox controller why not just play Xbox? I quit Xbox after finding out PlayStation had remote play. And at first I wasn't used to the controller but now I sold my Xbox I can't even hold them controllers they hurt my thumbs after a bit they are heavy and just blahhh. But I do understand everyone is different in their likes and dislikes so kudos! But not for me.

Lol I like you guys article is on point. If you don't want to play it stay away but if you did, this is your chance.
With that being said I've played dayz in its infancy. It was so frustrating but yet still addictive. From frame rate drops to zombies glitching through buildings. We even made a group called Wet to Death because as you know it rains, and when it would if you happened to try to use a ladder you would instantly be knocked out.
What I noticed with dayz from pc to now is that is/was always very hard drive and internet connection dependant. Meaning the better your hard drive and internet connection were the less the lag and glitches. Sounds like a crock of rubbish but it's fact. I even went as far as to hosting a server with two different companies. Which was very fun but took some time to get the coding right. The servers needed to be reset often due to hackers and the way dayz runs its scripts.
PS4 Dayz feels like a beta compared to how it ran on pc 8 years ago. Maybe even an alpha. However, the game keeps playing because of the interactions with people. MOSTLY good interactions, with others being kill on sight. Because with grinding to get good gear you don't want to lose it and most people will shoot before they help.
I am rambling.. But the point of this is, it is a great article. And yes I did just become a member to comment on it.
However if you want to play the game get it while the price is down. They will keep updating it and fixing glitches. But it's up to the community to help them by reporting glitches. I run on PS4 pro with an external hard drive, which when I moved the game from external to internal most of problems went away. The game still needs work but is very fun with friends! Sending love from across the pond. Allies for life!
