I've played a LOT during the weekend, and i honestly do not understand where this criticque or fear is coming from. The game showers you in credits, especially in the higher tournaments / races. The most expensive car i could find so far is 3 million credits, which would take you like 1-2 hours of doing tournaments. It feels faster than in the classic Gran Turismo.
The only reason the store option is there for credits is for people who don't want to do singleplayer (you have to do a little bit of it to onluck MP) but still want a car collection for multiplayer.
Right, that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for the insight, i didn't really think about that. I do agree that numbers for scoring are a bit nonsensical, however, it was the outlier case in review scores that got my attention. But with your explanation i can see why that is.
Hmm, this site scoring it a 4, and every other review so far is at least a 6.5, with some as high as an 8.
I get the feeling this reviewer just does not like jrpg's.
Good timing on this DLC. After Forbidden west, Elden ring, GT7 and the Chrono cross remake are done here i can prolly pick this one up in a sale, and then i have something to do untill Xenoblade 3 or the next good PS5 games
You're really grasping for straws here aren't you? What kind of question is 'what review scores are higher?' That's gonna totally depend on what site you look at and who you ask. Aside from this being totally irrelevant to the original discussion.
if you go by Metacritic user score for example forza 5 sits on 8.6. Sackboy : a bigt adventure sits on a 8.7. To give you an idea of how much review scores mean....
Sure budyd, if you want to pay each month to play generic crap like Fifa and Halo 2348923809, then keep doing that while the rest of us play gems like Ghost of Tushima, Demon's Souls, Returnal, etc, etc.
Each to their own of course, but your original comment about MS doing better on the exclusive market is just making a fool of yourself.
Also on Forza sales, again, almost 70% of it's sales is outside the Xbox market, on PC. It has nothing to do with exclusives on console. If you're talking all platform wide, then sure.
Not sure if you're aware, but as far as exclusives go, Miles morales sold more copies in 2021 than almost the entire top 10 sold exclusive games on xbox alone
Halo sold almost all of it's copies on PC, and Forza isn't extrmely popular.
Holy crap, the doom and gloom on this site is off the charts. Nothing's gonna happen to sony because CoD goes away, the Ps5 will still be the king of this generation, just as the PS6 will after it. MS just paid 70 billion (!) dollars for the CoD brand and a bunch of half-dead games from Blizzard... they bit themselves in their own foot, if anything.
Totally depends on the genre, a good (j)rpg i'd say at least 50-60 hours, closer to 100+ hours for 100% completion at the minimum but if it's a shooter i'm fine with 20 hours.
Regardless of genre though, games can be too short. For example R&C, as good as the game can be, i'm never buying a game that short at full price.
Me buying this game is going to depend largely on if there will be an option to turn those terrible voicelines off, seriously sounds like some 12 year old kids came up with them.
The dialog the 4 minute demo already annoyed me enough that i don't want to play this game anymore.
Man i'm surprised how good the remasters look, will prolly get this right away! Always loved those GTA games and now we can play them with decent graphics and good controls? Hell yes!
One of the worst months in PS+ all time, for me anyway. A multiplayer only shooter is a hard pass, I'm not 12 years old anymore. Mortal combat has never been fun to me since after the SNES version and finally a golf game, where I don't give a rat's a** about golf
Hmm, nothing on this list is a buy for me. Going to be 3 more months of working on my backlog and I just added tales of arise and death stranding DC to it, so I don't mind

Re: Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok Costs $40, Not Included in the Season Pass
Had a lot of fun with Valhalla and it's 2 DLCs, and this sounds like almost a full-sized game as a DLC. I'll gladly buy it
Seems Ubisoft is now the company that all the 'cool kids' hate on I think EA is relieved.
