Xbox is doing fine. They are going on different path than PS: Xbox Cloud, Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass. PC Game Pass are now available officially in 86 countries. Cloud gaming officially in 29 countries and keep increasing their TV partners
Xbox = gaming service + cloud gaming + traditional home console
Nintendo = kids handheld gaming console
PlayStation = traditional home console
Both Xbox, Nintendo, PC aren't PS direct competitors. They are indirect competitors, hence why Sony also fine porting games to PC, Xbox and Nintendo too. PS hardware keep dominating, exclusivity isn't as important as it used to be.
@Questionable_Duck agree, more people need to play Falcom games. Xbox is the only platform left in the world for Falcom to expand their audiences. I hope they use Xbox play anywhere too so more people can buy on their local currencies. Many Xbox console gamers are living in unsupported regions too.

It is either hit or miss, Nintendo found success with Pokemon Go, however I think Ratchet will fail & Horizon mobile could be the next Genshin
