If they make the PS5 Pro bundle a reasonable price that is roughly equivalent to the price of its individual parts, then I will try to get one. If it is over $1,000 USD, then I might pass
While I did unknowingly wait for hi-fi rush because of latency concerns,, I am going to be moving forward with Hellblade through cloud gaming on my iPhone and a quality pair of headphones. It’s not an ideal circumstance, but I’ve played games via this approach a handful of times in the past for titles, such as tunic, nobody saves the world, Pentiment and Signalis. It works well enough and given the cinematic nature I think I should be OK though I know I’m losing a lot elements of the game. I was completely enthralled with the first game and don’t wanna wait unless there’s clear indication that it’s coming in this year PS5
@MrMagic I paused Rebirth in chapter 4 and and currently on level 5 of 12 in Hi-Fi…hoping to finish it and turn FF7R prior to Stella Blade. Gonna pass on Ronin and Dogma at the moment.
@KundaliniRising333 doing my part, holding down a Netflix games subscription Apple Arcade subscription purchasing over a dozen $70 titles in 2023 and playing just as many indie titles at launch feeding into the Zeitgeist keeping the message boards, healthy and showing a lot of love to everybody’s game of the year episodes. All while holding down a steady job with two young children, a healthy marriage and an exercise regimen stop waiting for titles. Specially ones that are only retailing for 50 bucks.
@KundaliniRising333 you’re killing the industry mate. If everyone muster up the finances at attentiveness to purchase and play a big budget and a smaller title each calendar month. Things would be in much better shape. The game looks good to you. Let it be that hitman type title that has legs throughout the year don’t wait 15 months and play it when you should be buying a new release in 2025

@NEStalgia This is very true....this list is sooo mainstream. Granted I have all of these games on my end of year list minus Gran Turismo 7, but I also have a top 40 games with a bunch of other quality games releases in the year. Also, why is TLoU Part 1 and Legacy of Thieves on here and not gems like Citizen Sleeper, Cult of the Lamb, Nobody Saves the World, Rollerdrome, The Quarry, Tunic, or even Dying Light 2 for you mainstream folks.
@mrmartinrohr I’d debating whether I’d want this or not since I do want to replay the game…one of the few games I would consider replaying bc of how unique it was.
@thefourfoldroot you don’t understand the premise of the game. Many of the puzzles rely on one player communicating or describing what they are seeing on their screen to the other screen. Whether it is navigating around invisible lasers, identifying a glyph or pass phrase. It’s meant to be intense and one of the best experiences I have had in gaming this year. The game is built around a hacker and agent relaying information to one a other remotely.
