Have you seen scuf prices? Thats the kind of market the dual edge competes in. The elite 2 also cost 180€ at release, and that was several years (and percentage points of inflation) ago.
Im not saying its cheap, it clearly isnt. But given the small niche this controller is designed for, i dont think Sony is being greedy asking for, what are are essentially, normal market rates for such a product.
Its like people think companies operate in a bubble that is unaffected by its surroundings. Depending on where they operate inflation sits at over 10%. The costs of production are insane as well.
As others have noted, this is a luxury hobby. It sucks that less people can enjoy it now, but thats how it works with luxuries...
What I really dont understand is why this very obvious move hasnt happened yet? It surely cannot be so difficult for a studio like Square to put these games on all consoles without investing large sums of money and time. This should be easy!

Honestly, this state of play didnt do anything for me. Im glad that there are some who enjoyed it but the games shown just dont do it for me.
Also that 10 $ Death Stranding upgrade, in a time where Smart Delivery exists just feels out of place. Sony needs to step up their game on that front.
