I can honestly say I've been playing Uncharted 4 consistently since it was released. the multiplayer is really fun and they add just enough every few months to keep me going so I can unlock everything. I'm really glad more content is on the way that's for sure
one of my top 5 games of all time. I recommend this to everybody I can, it's hard to describe but truly a classic in every sense of the word. can't believe it's been 5 years, I remember getting it a week early because i preordered it on PS3. got a 6pack and played it through in amazement and awe.
signed in on ps4 about twenty minutes ago with no issues. a few mins later I remote played with my vita to see if LBP3 had finished updating then all of a sudden I couldn't sign into the store anymore using my vita. also said my ps plus membership was over when it clearly isn't. weird. but as far as I know I'm still signed in on ps4
finally! can't wait to try it out, the co-op in Uncharted 3 was my favorite online multiplayer experience maybe ever. my psn name is the same as this, iSmokeWii, add me if you need somebody to play with. I'm on every day
I can't wait, I still play Uncharted 4 online every day. the Co-op mode in Uncharted 3 took over my life for about a year too so I've been waiting on this for what seems like forever lol just waiting for an actual release date. if anybody wants to play add me on ps4, iSmokeWii
thanks for the advice, I've been looking to play through some of my backlog & try some new indies while I wait for my next big game (Horizon). just got finished with Child of Light which I highly recommend but this Stories game looks like it's exactly what I've been looking for. Not sure I would have played it had I not read this article so thanks for the heads up.
truthfully at the end of the day I don't think these new console refreshes matter. Sony is already selling ps4s at a record pace and MS is just doing whatever they can to keep up. what it really comes to (for me) is games. I think good IPs and promises of trying to create something new or fresh is what sells consoles and that's why Sony "won" this gen because of their message to gamers after MS botched theirs to start with the "tv" fiasco. Sony releasing new versions of the ps4 will only lead to more sales, but even if they hadn't they'd still be selling pretty well. that's how the market has been for nearly 3 years. I will say I think Nintendo has a great opportunity to be relevant again if they can wow people with the NX. seems like the timing is just right and it's the perfect storm to maybe carve out a new portion of the gaming market ps4/Xbox just can't reach. I'm really praying Nintendo comes back to life because as much as I love my ps4 nothing beats a console with good Zelda/Metroid/Mario/Smash games.
I'm going to give the Battlefield 1 beta another go, I have BF4/Hardline but for whatever reason I couldn't get into this new beta. I'm still playing Uncharted 4 regularly so I'll keep up with that, and I'll probably jump on Vita for the Jak & Daxter Collection which I started recently. should be a good weekend of gaming
I've been going through my backlog until Uncharted 4 drops so after beating Guacamelee (absolutely love that game) I finally started Valiant Hearts, which has been phenomenal so far. I want to play Ratchet & Clank but I'll wait for a price drop on that.
it's a shame, seems like Sony didn't market the vita very well at all. all of my friends who are casual or non gamers who ever tried it were blown away, & most of my buddies with ps4's didn't realize how well remote play works. they could have even made a ps4/Vita bundle to get more into the wild but it seems sony pulled the plug rather quick on the little machine. still one of my favorite handhelds, anybody whose had one knows how good it was though. I'll never regret my purchase
I didn't know much about Journey leading up to its release, just saw what looked to be a beautiful looking indie to help me shake up the types of games I usually played. I preordered it on PS3 & got it a week early, and it absolutely blew my mind. I beat it 3 times in one sitting the first night, & it automatically became one of my top 5 favorite games ever. I recommend it to everyone who has a PS3/PS4, and I replay it myself every few months. never felt as emotionally connected to a game, it made me feel something different each time I finished it. as close to a masterpiece as it gets
@get2sammyb so does the PS VR use the dualshock 4? or only the move controllers? those move controllers are such old tech I'm a little skeptical on how well they'll work. and doesn't the dualshock 4 have the move tech already in them? I'm confused on that, but otherwise SUPER excited about the price
not complaining because I've yet to play this game but it looks awfully similar to GalaxZ which we just got last month. a little diversity in the ps plus catalog wouldn't hurt but I'll reserve judgement until after I play it.
@bamozzy I couldnt disagree more, the little moments between Joel & Ellie are what made TLoU so special for me. when the game was nearing its end I wasn't just trying to beat the game I WAS Joel on this mission to save Ellie, I felt super connected to the characters & I'm glad they're bringing some of that to UH4. that being said I cannot wait for May 10th im also counting down the days. I just replayed all three Uncharted's on ps4 and I almost forgot how special each game was. Naughty Dog can do no wrong in my eyes, I know without a doubt Uncharted 4 will be a masterpiece.
I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm more curious to see how the online co-op works. if that's as fun as the single player I'll definitely be playing this a ton with my buddies
I think a $400-500 price tag is fair, but like many people have already mentioned long term support could be an issue. but I also feel things like the Vita have found their fan base and it's still a unbelievable little machine. people act like Vita isn't a great place to play indie games, and with ps plus you're almost certain to get everything for free eventually. I'll most likely buy PS VR within the first year because I think it'll be a great piece of tech, I just pray they market it better than they did the Vita that's all.
is the (rumored) name of the next Call of Duty game really big news? I've never been a huge fan of the series although I do have Black Ops 2, I just don't get why a game that's out every 9 or so months and seems to just copy & paste ideas every iteration is considered news at all. Personally I'm way more interested in the rumor about Destinys expansion.
@Bananaman678 I'm almost done with Paper Jam it's pretty good. A tad repetitive with collecting of paper toads but the battle system is really fun & the story is pretty funny. hope you enjoy it as much as I am
I just finished The Nathan Drake Collection so this weekend I'll be jumping into some more Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta. Almost finished with Mario & Luigi Paper Jam on 3DS, and just started Guacamelee for PS4 (even though I've played it on Vita already). Might start Uncharted Golden Abyss for Vita. Kind of in a gaming lull until Uncharted 4 drops in May, tried to play Killzone Shadow fall but the campaign just didn't interest me really. Broforce seems fun too but I'm gona wait & play that with my friends online. I'm always open to suggestions as well, lord knows I have enough in my backlog to last me years.
@get2sammyb so funny you wrote this article. I beat the Nathan Drake collection last night and I started Killzone Shadow Fall, but not because I've been dying to play it but only because I felt I had to beat it and "get it out of the way". I play a lot of the time like its a chore for me, so what you wrote resonates with me. at the end of the day im glad I play everything I do but it does feel like it's a pain sometimes. glad to know it not just me who feels this way
I have no issues logging in, been playing for hours it's really fun. took a lot of things from The Last of Us multiplayer too which I like. cannot wait for this game to finally release
