I've been wanting to play this one since it released on PC and had no idea that it was coming to PS3/Vita. Surely giving this a download closer to Halloween.
@KALofKRYPTON The Vita's D-pad is what sells it for me. Great placement and superior control. Using the 3DS D-pad for extended periods of time is painful, to say the least.
@MadchesterManc The Vita version has about five or so exclusive Murfy challenges. In all honesty, I've been playing on both PS3 and Vita and it doesn't seem like much is missing. Legends plays so smoothly on Vita, and the touchscreen levels are tons of fun, that the exclusion of the invaded levels can be overlooked if you just want to take Rayman on the go. Plus it's $20 cheaper, so it's not like you're getting ripped off. That said, the PS3 version is phenomenal, and the capacity in which you use Murfy adds something fresh and exciting to the gameplay. So I think it more depends if you prefer touchscreen controls, or a traditional control scheme.
Makes sense. I'm going to come right out and admit that I purchased a Vita just so I could play the original on the go. So, yeah, I can't wait for this one.
I had my kid sister and her friend play during my NL review, and after about 30-minutes they asked if they could play Rayman Origins, instead. Dreadfully uneventful game.

@ShogunRok - Thanks for such a thorough review. It looks like my wallet will be $40 lighter come tomorrow.

These levels are kicking my butt..and I like it.
Re: Review: Stealth Inc: A Clone in the Dark (PlayStation Network)
Good review, Greg. I'm not normally too keen on stealth-based games, but this seems like bunches of fun.
Re: Review: Dead Island: Riptide (PlayStation 3)
Unfortunate. I was actually considering this one before the negative reviews started pouring in. Perhaps a rental will satisfy my curiosity.
Re: Review: Retro City Rampage (PlayStation Network)
I'm having an absolute blast playing this game. Anyone who grew up in the 8-bit era owes it to themselves to check this one out.
