I would absolutely buy a handheld PlayStation 6. Assuming it would be less powerful than the full console, but still able to play PS6 games at reduced specs. If the push for backwards compatibility is true, then it would also be able to play all PS5 and PS4 games. Only problem would be for the physical media enthusiasts, whose libraries are locked onto discs. Yeah… that would be a problem for me…

Don’t get too excited about that Pro y’all… 12,300 is NOT enough for everyone who’ll want one. Not even close!

Only 2 galaxies in, but so far it’s an absolute 10/10. So inventive and joyful, and just the right level of challenge with plenty of casual fun but also tricky hidden bots and tougher platforming levels. 100% my game of the year, with Stellar Blade a close second.

$599 with a friggin’ disc drive and I’d be hittin’ that preorder button. I totally get that it’s expensive tech, but as a physical enthusiast, this thing is just not worth the cost for me with my limited game time these days.

Would have preferred a disc drive instead of 2TB. With the speed of internet (Pittsburgh, USA) deleting and re-installing games is not that big of a deal. No disk drive sucks…

Based on the reception of playroom alone, I think we could tell that the full game would be an absolute smash hit. Super excited to get stuck into it this weekend!

Ditch the live-service multiplayer cash-grabs, reel in the massive budgets and size of single-player games, and focus on some smaller projects that use existing IP’s in fun new ways. Nintendo’s new Zelda is a great example. Probably not that expensive to make given the graphics, but new and innovative, and likely going to sell like crazy.
Yeah, Sony needs to have some serious come-to-Jesus conversations.

Unlocking those bots in Playroom this weekend has me hyped for this coming weekend!

Jumped back in last night. The bots are SO hard to find, has to use the guide, but dang is Playroom such a fun game. And FREE! Best pack-in with a system since the good ol’ NES days!

Definitely have my eye on this. It seems quite unique (read: batsh*t crazy), and I really want to support this project—it’s Keiichiro Toyama!!! Hopefully they can polish up the combat before release.

The Portal is exactly what I wanted. I’d be interested in an updated version of that down the road. OLED screen, further reduced latency, improved connectivity, Edge-like upgrades for the controller, friggin’ bluetooth(!), improved battery life. I don’t have any interest in a dedicated handheld with its own games.

Would I love to have a more powerful PS5? Absolutely. But with such limited gaming time these days, it would be hard for me to justify the cost. Watch me buy one anyways though… 🙄☑️

This looks and sounds absolutely fantastic, and I think will be the Supermassive game that finally really grabs me. I love to hear that gameplay is more involved, and the shapeshifting alien storyline—while not totally original—should be a lot of fun to play through. This may be a day one for me!

I’m excited to play this down the road. The idea of having a lot more unique boss fights than your typical soulslike, and cutting down the number of enemies leading up sounds refreshing. As much as I love exploring and finding new weapons and gear, 75% of the time they don’t work for your build… Anyways this sounds great. Hopefully we get a patch or two to tidy up the input lag issues.

I am SO excited for this, had it preordered since… I forget. My gut tells me this is going to be Bloober’s moment.

Wasn’t wow-ed by this game the first time I played it, so I wouldn’t buy this remake no matter how much it cost.

I do think that Veilguard is looking pretty great, but I won’t be playing it anytime soon bc I’m invested in finishing like 4 other games—one of them being Baldur’s Gate 3!

I was OBSESSED with Star Renegades. Put in dozens of hours over PS5 and Switch. Such a fantastic game. Challenging, tactical combat, awesome pixel art and character design, and so, so much personality. Can’t believe the game didn’t even show up in the system to be rated… 😭

Will definitely play the Evil Dead game. No desire to be Michael Myers though lol

Hubbub, indeed! Heart pounding, frantically checking websites in my phone and laptop, with support from cool dudes on the PushSquare community, was able to snag one from Target. I became 10 years old again. Most beautiful PS5 controller by a long shot!
