They're as self-serving and phony as any awards show. Just show me the list the next day and let me move on with my life after five minutes reading it.
@DonJorginho This!! Why isn't there the "I don't watch bad movies no matter what franchise" option?? Also, honestly, who.......... EVER........ thought this would be good?? This was DoA the second it got announced. And why are we talking up this cast? I genuinely think this would've been better with some new, up and coming actors and actresses. Are people still into Jack Black and Kevin Hart???
@Konks thiiiiiiiiis. This is what's been going through my head ever since the first details about the game (meaning FF7 as a whole) being broken up into segments emerged. I can't wrap my head around how the pacing they're using fits into three parts. I agree with making Midgar a whole game; I think how huge and rich a setting Midgar is deserved that kind of expanded exploration. But now that we see exactly how much of the whole is in part 2... I dunno, man, I just can't wrap my head around how everything that's left will fit in a part 3. :-/
Jokes aside, thanks for this article and not treating ero games with the mockery they normally seem to receive. I don't play them and I understand that a lot of them are poorly made games that stand on their shock factor but, if the quality of their production is improving, they deserve to be treated as "real" games just as much as movies or any other media that have a story to tell and do so with more explicit erotic content do. I know I've read ero manga that have had better stories and gotten me more invested than some movies or novels I've seen or read. That level of storytelling deserves respect.
I feel like the fact that this was even posed in the form of it being a serious question that should be debated and not just a soapbox article about how live service is one of the many cancers in modern gaming just illustrates how bad the problem has gotten... smh

Re: The Midnight Walk (PSVR2) - Dark, Melancholic, and Hauntingly Beautiful
Not to be 'that guy' but it's "Corpse Bride" not "The Corpse's Bride."
