Raising the price is not justified for several reasons:
1. 2K is comparing that cost to 2005, while it would be fair to adjust for inflation, the volume and number of gamers have substantially increased.
2. Why don't they give proof that their revenues are affected at the current price tag of $60. On the contrary, profit has been increasing many folds
3. Which studios at 2K have been closed recently due to insufficient revenues generated from poor sales. They are rehashing the same NBA2K for years now, GTA has been milking the cow for 3 gens. ISn't that enough for them?
