I love this current landscape where proven indie developers get a crack at reviving dormant platformer franchises. Fabraz (Demon Turf, Demon Tides) is making Bubsy 4D, while Sluggerfly (Hell Pie) is working on Super Meat Boy 3D. Can we get an accomplished indie developer to revive Banjo-Kazooie next?
I can only speak for myself, but as a casual JRPG fan, what turns me off most with modern JRPGs is how long they take to beat. JRPG fans casually mention that Atlus games and Dragon Quest games can take up to 100 hours to complete, as if that isn't an obscene time commitment for most people. Part of what I loved about Expedition 33 is that it respected my time. Please make your games shorter!
@LogicStrikesAgain "Also, as stated above, everyone will be able to play this on their phones so no one is being gated"
That was an old BlizzCon reference, when Blizzard announced that Diablo Immortal would only be on mobile. Players were not happy because no one likes playing video games on a phone.
Gating PlayStation players out of a Ratchet and Clank game of all things is a baffling decision. Really hoping this gets a PS5 version to coincide with the official release.
@Axelay71 Does every 3D platformer have to be a 10/10 generational masterpiece with a AAA budget in order to have value? This game looks great! The movement mechanics look fun and intuitive and the art design is clean and vibrant. I'll definitely be checking this out.

Re: New Super Lucky's Tale's Name Starting to Lose Meaning with PS5 Re-Release
This is an awesome, and very underrated, 3D platformer. I might have to platinum this game again!

Re: Dragon Ball Z Action RPG Kakarot Tops a Mighty 10 Million Sales
We need a game based on Dragon Ball, the anime that takes place prior to Dragon Ball Z. Make it happen Bandai Namco!
Re: Code Violet (PS5) - Gooner Shooter Can't Get It Up
Fanservice is the garnish, not the whole meal.

Re: Western Sales Have Saved the Trails Series, Falcom Boss Suggests
I am baffled as to what Japanese players are even looking for anymore. Have they all been captured by gacha games?

Re: Your Tongue Is the Ultimate Tool in Frog 3D Platformer Big Hops on PS5
@BLKxHER0 Little Taxi Goes Vroom and A Hat in Time are awesome games, but I'd never heard of Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip. Thanks for the recommendation!
