Re: Bonus PS Plus Extra Game Available Today

TooOldForGamesNow

I already played all of this through PS plus somehow a few months ago. To be honest, this is a great way to play Destiny. I just did a focussed play through of as much story as I could, although missing all the Raids. It just about made sense πŸ˜‚ Just wish I could have played the stuff they vaulted as well πŸ˜’

Don't really care. I think Xbox owners will be glad for a return to exclusives, but we'll see if they stick to that. The flip-flop doesn't help their credibility though. A lot of games in their showcase are coming to ps5 which means they're sending out really mixed messaging. Are we gonna get Halo remake but not the inevitable Halo 2? It's all a bit silly really.

Re: PS5 Fans Vote Jak & Daxter As Their Most Wanted PlayStation Revival

I really loved the Jak trilogy back in the day. I've replayed it a couple of times and I still think it's great. If they did anything I reckon a remake of the trilogy that tidies up the story and improves the continuity through the three games would be cool. Maybe modernize the controls a bit, but I never had a problem with the gunplay of the second and third games. It was the platforming that was always the star of the show though.

Re: '$1,000+ Consoles Could Become the Norm': PS6's Price Touted to Touch Four Figures

TooOldForGamesNow

Surely there's a point where the loss of sales due to a high entry cost will outweigh the income from their existing install base, or something like that. They'll just see PS Plus dwindle. They've had great sales of PS5 already so they might be able to gamble on a higher price for the remainder of its life cycle. But they'll want people to make the jump to PS6 as quickly as possible. 800+ cost will just kill any momentum.

Re: Ahead of Renegades Launch, Destiny 2 Dev Explains New Approach to Expansions

I'm generally a solo/offline player but I played a lot of Destiny 1 and 2 and really enjoyed it. But they lost me because they lock the conclusion of every story behind a raid (never got into them) and then locked me out of content that I really enjoyed. Still shocks me that I can't put the Destiny 2 disc in my PS5 and play the original campaign. It was so good, and now it's gone apparently 🀷
