Re: Missing Bloodborne Monster Finally Hunted Down

Throb

I would love to play this game because it looks incredible, it's just the repetition that puts me off and the difficulty. I know people say that the difficulty is what makes the game, yeah yeah, I get that, keep the difficulty on high then but why not an option so other people can try it and experience it too? I tried one level and every time I died I had to start from the exact same point, way way back in the level. It was so infuriating and off putting. I didn't find a single checkpoint on my time with it.

@Simon_Fitzgerald Nice review Would this game be a good introductory RPG for a 5/6 year old? No really complicated inventory or crafting or levelling etc?

Re: Round Up: Is the New South Park Game Fractured or Whole?

Throb

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Thanks for the heads up. I already pre ordered this digitally over a year ago, so was given the code way back then. So have gone through and replayed The Stick Of Truth on PS4 already. When it was announced the game was being delayed, I then cancelled my pre order

Re: Guide: Destiny 2 for Beginners and Frequently Asked Questions About Loot

Throb

Question - I managed to get an exotic piece of arm amour quite early on at level 6 or 7 (not sure how) it's power is 105, now I am a higher level, i'm getting lots of blue pieces that are 150 to 160. I know exotics are meant to be the best but with that low power it's not worth it. Should I dismantle it, sell it, something else?

Re: Poll: Are You Enjoying Destiny 2?

Throb

@Mega-Gazz I'm using Titan and when I try and do little jumps it just seems to go way too far! Trying to do the sinking rig mission, i just kept falling in the sea all the time. It also doesn't seem to move well in the air so aiming for a landing position is tricky too

Re: Poll: Are You Enjoying Destiny 2?

Throb

I didn't preorder but bought it as an impulse buy on the way home from work. I did have the first Destiny but gave up after a while. I think I like D2, it's just very confusing at times and the jumping/platformy sections are rubbish.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Thoughts on the PlayStation Plus Price Increase?

Throb

If you take inflation at an average of 2.7% since 2010 and apply it yearly to the original annual subscription of £39.99:
Year SUB VAT
2010 £39.99 £1.08
2011 £41.07 £1.11
2012 £42.18 £1.14
2013 £43.32 £1.17
2014 £44.49 £1.20
2015 £45.69 £1.23
2016 £46.92 £1.27
2017 £48.19

That's not too far off to be fair

@get2sammyb @vegeta11 You're doing great work in the guild! I managed to knock up a few more points last night but my skills are still pretty poor, so not as much as yourself

Re: Talking Point: Was Mass Effect: Andromeda Unfairly Torn Apart by the Internet?

Throb

It was unacceptable to release it how it was. I perservered through the whole game but it felt so hollow, so wooden. Even with the vastness of the planets/galaxies, it had an empty feeling. It had no heart. It is an atrocious entry in to the Mass Effect universe and considering the amount of time and resource they had, there is really no excuse to release something so shoddy

Re: Friday the 13th: The Game Unmasks 26th May on PS4

Throb

I'm definitely excited for this, looks brutal! I'm going to hold back this time though and wait for some reviews before pre-order, I'm never doing that again after the Andromeda farce. The online games are going to be so tense, shame there's only 3 maps though? And I would feel more comfortable if the single player was actually included in the release rather than waiting foor it

Re: Review: Persona 5 (PS4)

@ShogunRok Another great review, thank you! You have totally swayed me in to getting this but I'm not sure where i'm going to get the time to play all the stuff I have at the moment.
There was a comment earlier about dying and 'game over', it does just go back to a checkpoint yeah? It's not a start over from scratch thing?

Re: Review: Mass Effect: Andromeda (PS4)

This review sums up the majority of other reviews I have read. I had the game on preorder and it's downloaded and ready to play (unfortunately I can't get time to play on it until probably at least Sunday though!!!) I'm pretty tolerant on most open world games, they all have their ups and downs and in the whole, I enjoy them. I think I can get past the negatives in the reviews and still enjoy the game

Great review @ShogunRok
