PS, Xbox, Google Stadia, it's all good for us, if it pushes gaming on further we're all going to win in the end, whatever our gaming rig, competition makes our chosen platform better, I know PS has really made MS think long and hard about their next iteration, without PS they'd just be pumping out the same old stuff, just the same as 1X has pushed on console hardware and shown some great upgrades this generation. I really don't want one manufacturer to exist without the other.
@themcnoisy when backwards compatibility finally comes to PS wouldn't it be great to have a library to be able to go back to? I know from my 360 that playing games I bought digitally it's wonderful to be able to go back and play them again on my One. I know I've played games for years sometimes that I purchased new, I didn't mean selling them a couple of months after they came out 😀. I have loads digitally on my PS3 I'd love to play again without having to get the console out of the loft!
I bought it digital, as did everyone else I know, with games worth very little when selling secondhand why bother with physical anymore, plus I have two consoles, so it means not carrying a disk around between two places. I've got 50 hours in the game now and still enjoying it so far. I feel it has been given a rough deal by the press and reviewers, if you don't like grindy games then it's probably not for you. I have a clan that play Warframe and Destiny together, so we already have teams ready to go, so only played a bit with randoms.
@R1spam @Splat @Rossif3r no probs, I played the VIP and have to say I had a riot once the 95% loading in bug and title screen issue where fixed. Matchmaking was good, the controls are great, I hope EA don't mess this up for Bioware with monetising it too much, I think this could be a great game.
@nathanSF I got two of my four strongholds attempted finished, the two unfinished ones were down to a lag out and a bug where we were missing the last bit of the puzzle that didn't spawn, pretty annoying, but I had a riot in the missions anyway, so if they can get this fixed this is going to be a really good fun game.
@Rick_Deckard like Captura in Warframe? I guess if we keep on at the devs enough if it's not something that's there at the moment they could add it, it'd be a good addition. Watching the dev streams they seem open to ideas.
@tatsumi I played the alpha, and I had a riot, handled well, obviously bugs in it, but that's what alphas are for eh. It was stunning to look at, controls intuitive and fluid.
I quite enjoyed the Warmind story better than the incredibly dull CoO, it's not going to win any awards for sure, run three characters through it now, so now the grind to 385 starts, at least it's not instantly achievable, and clan engrams are now no longer really highly powered, the release system was a farce, was at max power in a couple of weeks.
IMHO Bungie's mistake with Destiny 2 was to aim the game at casuals, it's not the casuals who will stick about for three years, it's the hardcore who are totally invested in it, the game should've been built for them from the get go, the casuals will move on after a month of playing it whatever after trying it to a new release.
Raid lairs suck, proper raids bungie, that's what we want, not just over extended strikes with a few more mechanics.
Grimoire, lore, collectables (thanks for putting some on Mars btw, good start), that's what we want.

Re: The Division 2 Open Beta Accidentally Outed by Massive Entertainment Dev
The game feels really good, controls really nice, no lag, fluid gameplay, looks like a good narrative, improvement on the first game.

Re: ANTHEM VIP Demo Still a Mess for Many Thanks to Endless Load Screens and Frequent Disconnects
Working well for me today, was unplayable yesterday, but much better today, still small amount of screen tear, bit overall good.

It looks really slick, I hope there's loads of diversity in the missions.
