@BlueBeemer brand loyalty because of the games. It’s a fact!! The only real difference in PS5 an Series X is the exclusive games. My fav console is my PS5, because it gives me better games than my Series X.

@RonnieL the only way they could gain ground on Playstation imo would be to release incredible, exclusive games. Like Playstation does. That is the reason Playstation beats Xbox, the games.

@RonnieL Microsoft did pay for timed exclusives back on the 360 when the player base was close. The only reason they don’t do it now is because they can’t. Playstation has a far bigger player base an devs only wanna do timed exclusives for Playstation, they sell far more copies.
As for Final Fantasy that has nothing to do with Sony. Squar Enix said they didn’t wanna make Xbox versions. They wanted to concentrate on the Playstation version as that’s where it’ll sell best.

My kids will love this but it def looks like a game that’ll be on PS+ extra or Game Pass in no time.

A few more years??? I doubt it’ll be anywhere near that long, they’re looking to start filming this year!! Part 2 is gonna be split over at least 2 seasons.

@Peach64 for me PS+ ectra currently beats Game Pass. It has better games an more games! Game Pass best feature is day 1 exclusives but we don’t get many of those at all!!

I bought the Dreamcast before PS1. It was a great console an my thinkin was Sega will be better at making games than Sony!! Bout a year later bought a PS1. Had. Every Playstation since. Got the PS5 on release, bought my first ever Xbox, a Series X, a year after the PS5. It’s a great machine but Playstation is on another level!

The new PS+ extra an premium could be a reason. Look at Xbox, they don’t sell anywhere near as many games as Playstation, a lot of folk rarely buy Xbox games, they just use Game Pass.

@BaldBelper78 Sony couldn’t afford to buy them. The 10 year deal only covers COD, wat about other games? I think it’ll still go through.
My argument was real exclusives like The Last of Us, Uncharted, Ghost of Tsushima, Forza, Halo, etc are fine. Buying games like COD an makin them exclusive isn’t. 10 years isn’t that long, about 1 gen. Will Microsoft renew the deal? We don’t know? They said Bethesda games wouldn’t be exclusive yet binned PS5 Redfall an Starfield an made them exclusive.

@Mega-Gazz real exclusivity is fine. If a dev is bought, invested in and release a new game that’s fine. Like Sony do for Playstation. Microsoft simply want to buy devs and simply turn their successful 3rd party games exclusive. Altho they have offered a 10 year deal for COD.

@Randinator123 Rockstar are owned by Take Two, Take Two are worth about 22 billion. I doubt Sony would pay that much!!

The should make a VR mode. Don’t have PSVR2 yet but my fav game on Oculus 2 is golf an i’m not even a golf fan.

@ChrisDeku because they’re the absolute best games. A lot of PC only gamers won’t have played them.
