Re: 'We Were Debating Whether to Go Straight into The Last of Us 3': Expect More Infected in the Future

@arsmolinarc. Dude, seriously. Of all the "live-service" mistakes Sony has wrought, none more dissapointing than "Factions" being thrown out with the bathwater. Even it it was a retred of the original with those crisp pt. 2 mechanics in place, they could've rode the wave surrounding the shows hype, built a community, and progressed from there. Streamers alone would've fawned over how unique and different the core methodical gameplay was and opened up the audience. Truly heartbreaking.

The sequel gets leaked and death threats sent to its actors and creators. His latest project, after a monumental effort to produce a "LoU" Multiplayer suite hasc since been canceled, is ALSO leaked and bemoaned by basement dwelling slurms. At best, explore what would've been a third story through the upcoming television show instead of years dragging your chin through this vapid nerdscape of unappreciative blobs.

Re: Disappointment as DualSense Edge PS5 Controller Sports Smaller Battery Lasting Six Hours

@NEStalgia My included DualSense began drifting at about the year anniversary of me being graced with getting a PS5 at retail. Ofcourse..."DeepRockGalactic" and some potent thumb pressure are probably to blame. My Galactic Blue DS has touchpad drift oddly enough. Can't tell you how many DualShocks I went through on the PS4 with regards to its battery. Oddly enough...that's when I started focusing on plugging in!

@NEStalgia IDK bud, I definitely "perceive" a difference and response between both wireless vs wired. I digress. My main contention is that I opt out of wireless and am bittered at this price point for having to appease the MAJORITY of gamers whom do indeed take advantage of this functionality. Have Sony put out their price point for replaceable analog sticks? Is it an admission in the inevitably of drift? Curious as to your experience breaking in your device

Re: Poll: Did You Buy The Last of Us: Part I?

Ugh. I honestly feel bad for Naughty Dog having to spend more resources and time dragging there collective chins through such a murky, loathsome, violent and depressing universe that is almost too "ultra-realistic" for its own good. Certainly a testament to there craft both games may be. The realism and narrative peaks, the groundbreaking narrative are all highs. I think most of us agree it's not a "fun" series to repeatedly revisit and question why precious time wasn't spent on a new IP. It's a weird admission on my part when the mechanics and gameplay of a franchise are almost ruined by the oppresive story.

Such odd branding between this and that "other" DC based squad-slap-a-thon dud that's getting pushed back into oblivion. Reeks of "Avengers" level transactions and the stench of the grind continues to mount. Can anyone actually defend playing as Nightwing? IDK. Definitely an old fart frustrated with the state of my hobby.

Re: Massive Street Fighter 6 Leaks Acknowledged by Capcom

Tanto_Mane

Isn't possible it was a sanctioned leak? Given how ravenous and equally toxic gaming fandom is, maybe this is just a work to generate goodwill. Just as same, how many games are released as shells of there potential, only for developers to droll out updates described as answering the community. Capcom could very well be playing into the tepid response of SF5 by trolling its audience. Absolutely genius

It's such a frustrating age of gaming when we have this incredible hardware and the means to create truly engaging experiences and yet are constantly hammered by a need for companies to follow the dirge of cell-phone like transactions, even into this generation. Not every piece of software needs some long term endgame or grind. Such a tough balance though. Increasing production costs and time. A lack of direction. Corporate jellyfish ultimately serving investors. Very similar to the film industry! The hard truth? Games are only worth purchasing a year later.
