The PS4 Pro is really showing the lack of detail in the character models compared to the PS5 videos online, but damn, it plays at 30fps almost the entire time and is an incredible story thus far.
I will purchase this at $20...no more, but hey, maybe they will have this thing figured out by then.
The graphics are sweet, but over the years I have gravitated to Forza. Mostly because it is less Grindy and the community is more involved with the studio and they tend to gift a lot of cars, credits, etc. as thanks.
With them gobbling up studios and committing to each other’s platforms, I see Sony and MS moving towards a REAL 3DO for consoles not the next generation, but the one after that.
Have minimal and required specs and different ports/accessories for each, that is if Cloud Gaming doesn’t take over completely, and with vinyl records they way they are going, I doubt it.
Great using the Nathan Drake game as a cover photo! People loves these games because they were non stop action, hilarious, and polished.
I’d rather have a 12-16 hour experience blow my mind than another time suck of a fetch game like AC Valhalla (which was a great game, but took me almost a year to complete it, I don’t get as much time to game as I’d like).
@Olmaz same man. The visuals do impress, the GT Sport on PS4 Pro was rad, but something just felt off. I didnt feel as connected to the game as I do with Forza, and up to that point, I played both pretty regular.
@WolfyTn agreed!! The second one was my favorite, it improved on the first greatly. The third was wild, so wild it almost felt like a different IP, but was still fun. I enjoyed the Americana themes and the final boss fight more than the first two.
I have a rule....$20 for first party games is the highest I'll pay and Ubisoft I wait a month after launch and pick it up at half of from Bestbuy or Amazon. I prefer the Xbox controller....and GamePass...so buying games is a lot less these days. The UI on the Xbox is better I think, it integrates with my apps more. Sony's UI feels like its from the Soviet Bloc, just the minimum.
I jumped on a PS4 Pro 2 years ago for Cyber Monday, grabbed 6 games for $10 each and just picked up Ghosts of Tsushima for $20 at Bestbuy today.
I'm sure there are plenty of folks like me, but fancy a Playstation first, get the Xbox later on and will be happy to grab the must play titles later in the lifespan of the console.
There are just too many games out there to pay full price for unless you are a diehard fan of things, in which case, you likely aren't spending too much time on other games to begin with.
@Bamila I played it because I had nothing going on during the first part of the pandemic, but man, horrible gameplay, repetitive, way too much focus on any NPC becoming a recruit, story was horrible.
Adding AC into this game is literally polishing a turd. The series is great, but get back to WD 2...that game...wow...so much fun!

Re: God of War Ragnarok Could Weigh in at a Whopping 90GB on PS4
If Forbidden West is 99 GB on PS5 with compression I’d bet it’s closer to 140-150 GB without. A lot more details I’d assume w the PS5 build.
Great game by the way…a little disappointed for the ending but that’s to be expected since it’s the middle of the planned trilogy.

Stoked to find out this is going to be a trilogy.

Re: Gran Turismo 7 Another PS5, PS4 Exclusive Using Tons of SSD Space
@Corc11 data caps from ISP could be a very good reason.
I’m with ya. I just move stuff to the external, but the immediate desire to play a game is stifled by the transfer from external to internal.

@GADG3Tx87 makes sense now after playing The Impossible Lair
Whomever on this or PureXbox suggested I play this game…I finally got around to it! Thank you. It’s hard and fun. A winning combo
