Dang, this update didn't help one of the quests that was 'bricked' for me. It just moved the marker to another dead end. In 'Shining Example', if you destroy the vines before the bird fight, it won't detect that the vines are gone. Now it tells me to pick up the greenshine which I already did, so there's nothing to pick up. The completionist in me is going crazy right now...
I was victim to several of these completionist ending bugs, so it's great to see they're listening to users' issues. I can't wait to finally be able to get my 100%
Ugh, this was NOT a simple task. Initially, my online data wasn't transferring over. After a lot of back and forth for about a half hour it finally found my save info, but then kept failing. My guess is servers were overloaded. Eventually after several attempts both my story mode and online data migrated over.
For everyone complaining about the price of games, they were more expensive in the 80's, technically. If you account for inflation, we're still paying less than we did then. An NES at release ($180) was almost $450 in today's value.
@TooBarFoo That's pretty much what I meant. While story mode has been stagnant, the online portion receives constant updates. Other than Shark cards, there's no additional add-ons or micro-transactions. There aren't many 8 year old games still getting updates, free or not. My point being, I don't mind paying for quality games. I just get tired of people complaining about a $10 upgrade for other games. Would you work for free?
You have to give this game credit. It came out on the PS3, and here we are on a PS5 still getting updates (all free so far). So if they want a $10-$20 upgrade to PS5, I'm totally cool with that. Y'all can't be asking for AAA games but only want bargain bin prices.
I always ALWAYS always add each PS+ title to my library every month. Regardless of if I'm interested in it. There have been some games that have come back to interest me at a later date. I don't get why people don't just add the games to their library, even if they never plan to download them. IT'S FREE!!!
This will come down to one thing for ANY company: Has the CEO been making the company money and will the CEO continue to make the company Money? If the answer is yes, the executives will always keep their job. It's about the money, not the morals. I have worked at a couple places with horrific CEO's/CFO's/Presidents, etc...and blind eyes are always turned if they made us money.
@Perryg92 Just get all 3 in the bundle package for $60 then. Trust me, they're all great titles. And they all have options to pass the controller around for a 'movie night' type of event with friends - so each person is deciding their characters fate instead of you doing all the work solo
Blows my mind that these games aren't super mega award winning hits. $30 for these games that I end up playing several times over with different outcomes, yet I'll breeze through a AAA game that costs $70 in less than 3 or 4 hours that I'll never play again. And the game mechanics get better with each release.
@Angelus3K None of the 3rd party apps ever support Atmos. Nor does the PS5 support Atmos at all. It seems you can only use Apple devices or external speakers that support Atmos to get support.
This game is really hard to play without a keyboard. Plus, their servers go down ALL THE TIME due to DDoS attacks. And like any online game, you get the trolls, friends teaming up, and hackers who make playing impossible. But...when you do find a good room, it can be a lot of fun to pass the time.
So, either the scalpers got ahead of this, there's a huge shortage of supply, or Sony is letting everyone with a PS5 in on the beta test. I cannot find a heatsink and a 1TB drive anywhere. Some of these are on backorder for almost 3 months.

@SoulChimera I'm like you and have years of PSN stacked on my account. I have a feeling they'll go the Nintendo route and pro-rate existing plans.

@Perryg92 They upgraded Little Hope to support 60fps on the PS5, but Man of Medan didn't get any updates for PS5 support.
