Looking amazing now. Was initially disappointed over the delay but the wait seems to be worth it. I like the fact they are trying to do something different with a new IP. There are other next gen racers coming out that aren't as brave as this.
If they delayed Driveclub for quality issues then they've done it for the right reason in my book. Besides there is always NFS Rivals. Polygon are saying that the PS4 version looks better than the PC version. Next year will be amazing for exclusives on PS4. Infamous SS, Driveclub and The Order will keep me busy not to mention the third party releases. Still sticking with my PS4 pre-order. Don't forget Watchdogs is also delayed on X1.
Can't wait till next month, Killzone SF and this. What a time to be a Playstation owner. You journalists are right jammy beggars getting early access to stuff like this. I need to change my career.
I already got a pretty sweet bundle deal at Game. PS4, special edition copies of Killzone and Driveclub, 30 days PS+ and £20 credit off any other PS4 purchase.
I voted for good, but I also commend Sony's strategy of not having too much out at launch. X1 seems to have blown it's stack too early. February will see the release of Infamous Second Son which could well be a system seller. People are judging PS4's line-up against Msoft's offerings mostly because of Titanfall, while forgetting that it isn't even a launch game.
The improvements Evolution Studios have made to Driveclub are huge and the overall design of the game is a bit more forward thinking than the same old Forza formula. Driveclub has much more going on in terms of graphics and game design.
Already getting a special edition of Driveclub with the bundle deal I got from Game. So I'll go for Planetside 2, Resogun then warframe. I've never had as many games day one in any console generation and a lot of them will be free.
The detail in this is amazing especially considering it's an open world game. This could well be a system seller and hopefully it will get the respect it deserves.
@Reverend_Skeeve The problem is that when you go on other gaming sites you get a lot of Msoft fans saying "it's not 60fps PS4 sux" kind of thing. Stupid really, especially when you consider that this game has a lot more going on. I guess the marketing departments need 60fps more than we do because this already looks awesome. That's why I prefer this site now, it's a lot more civilized.
@get2sammyb It's amazing how much this has progressed since E3. It gives me hope that they will achieve 60 fps with this but I'm not sure that it needs to. It has a good sense of speed about it now and looks really smooth. But I suppose some people will want the magic 60 figure just to have a bullet point on the box.
Here's an even better video, it's off screen but it's very clear and the detail looks amazing. Their channel on youtube also has a couple more driveclub vids so enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfOYApJvbbU
I have fond memories of playing this on my Megadrive years ago. Mainly because of the wonderful visuals (at the time). Not sure how it will stack up against modern games though what with really good, and cheap indie fare like Stealth Inc around.
I think some people are underestimating just how much more powerful PS4 actually is. Yes it has 50% more shader cores, but it has 100% more render outputs (ROPS), this equates to twice the fill rate. But the real killer feature of PS4 is it's ability for fine grain asynchronous compute. It can handle 64 separate sources of compute commands where X1 only has around 4 separate sources. This gives an advantage of around 16 x the performance. PS4 is considerably more powerful than X1.
Hopefully it will give developers some ideas to include in future games. It will keep my niece and nephew entertained on Xmas day, Little-uns love that sort of thing.
The DS4 has been getting some great reviews among the gaming press. I much prefer the feel of a good pad in my hands to some pipe dream about camera controlled shovel ware. Bring it on!

Re: Media Molecule Hoping to Reveal Major PS4 Game in 2015
Can't wait to see this. MM never lets you down when it comes to imaginative designs. Those ray-marched distance fields look fantastic too!
Re: These New Screenshots Prove That Tearaway Unfolded Is the PS4's Cutest Game
I'm impressed with the quality of the AA in this game. Looks almost pre-rendered. Nice job.
Re: Feature: Push Square's E3 2014 PlayStation Game of the Show - No Man's Sky
Imagine a Project Morpheus version of No Man's Sky! It seems to be tailor made for it. Please Sony make it happen.
Re: Battlefield 4 Commands Next-Gen Advantage on PS4
You should have seen the insanity this caused over on GAF. Thank god for Pushsquare, such a civilized site. Everywhere else has gone mental.
Re: Ten More Seconds of DriveClub Should Get Your Engine Going
We were foolish to doubt them. Lighting is fantastic.
Re: PlayStation App Squeezes onto Your Smartphone Next Month
Going straight on my IPad. Using as a keyboard could be good it gets tiresome entering text with a controller.

Re: You'll Be Able to Listen to Game Audio Through the PS4 Controller's Headphone Jack
Cool I'll use my House of Marley buds for this. The sound quality on them is way better than a standard I pod headset.
Re: What Third-Party Games Do You Want on PlayStation? Tell Sony's New Division
Star citizen and Elite Dangerous for me. There aren't enough of these types of games on consoles.

Re: Skype Eager to Arrange a Video Conference with PS4
Personally I wouldn't like this as Skype were one of the biggest suppliers of personal data to the NSA.
Re: You'll Be Able to Purchase and Download PS4 Games Wherever You Are
As Groovy Wordbender would say, mmm nice!

Re: Reaction: Microsoft's Stopped the Xbox One Rot, But PS4 Is a Step Ahead
@get2sammyb Honestly nothing MSoft does would surprise me anymore. They've made a total mess of the launch.
Re: Reaction: Microsoft's Stopped the Xbox One Rot, But PS4 Is a Step Ahead
Actually this doesn't put anything on a par with PS4, it comes with certain restrictions. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-07-24-microsoft-will-allow-self-publishing-after-all-rumour
