Nah, the controller is not the console. PS4 Pro came with terrible firmware and bad updates (no signal to TV, therefor no picture)
Several games performded weaker on the Pro than on the base PS4. Boost mode was somewhat broken.
I had a good PS4Pro, no loud sounds or anything, bought it way later tho.

Let's see what Sony can offer. I sure hope they remember the terrible launch of the PS4 Pro, there were plenty of problems.

Anyway, as my name suggests, I HOPE for the best, as always.

Release functioning games and add content if you like, for a fair compensation ofc.

We gamers (many, not all) are complainers and often very mean - me included, however I try to be better.

Concerning the extra Bots they added, nice freebee. The puzzles were a bit weak on the hints or my brain is rotten, you choose.

I understand your statement, however I have to disagree. It was quite logical that there will be no Spiderman nor a new God of War game that soon.

Sony not recognizing what they have in the pipeline or downplaying a game because of its genre or maybe because it has not yet made a name for itself is alarming.

This game comes close to the best ever reviewed Mario games, this is huge. No way around it. Sony should promote it, support it, push it

It was a 10 for me, but since it crashed 2 times in endless mode, I changed it to a 9.

This shows how disconnected Sony is from it's own developers and products. They claimed no big releases in 2024, oh boy, they dropped the ball yet again.

Congratulations to the developers, I hope this game sells like hot cakes.

I just watched the ACG review on YT and this game looks phenomenal, lots of things that remind me of the Mario games and lets be honest, there is not a better platformer out there to take notes from. Also the advantages or lets say unique features this game has over the Mario series are way better graphics and for Playstation gamers all the Bots that remind you of well known games.

I preordered on Amazon,since they sell the game for only 50€. My niece and I will have so much fun with this one.
Can NOT wait.

Hey Liam, I have a couple of questions. Why didn’t you mention the feature (after the first playthrough) in which you can jump to certain scenes where it let you see in how many other ways it can play out. I find this quite good.

Second question, did you play through the game a second time?

Watched a few minutes. His explanations are flawed in my opinion. Example I never cared for the numbers in a Mario game, also I deactivated damage numbers and sound in vampire survivors.

What I do fully understand is, that there are people out there that get nothing out of vampire survivors and I am ok with it.

We all have different tastes in some regards and that is totally valid. However, saying this game should be free is disrespectful to the developers. You don't like it as much as the next guy, good but free.... come on man.

Also, saying it is on par with Java games from 2000, really? Show me a game with that many unlockable and content for this amount of money, that also generates even half the amount of fun.

Everything came to a stop since Vampire Survivors. So simple, yet so addictive. Highly recommended.

There are a few games (BG3, probably GTA VI) that deserve to ask for more than 70 bugs. I very seldom buy games on release day anymore, FROM Software would be an exeption.

But not in digital form, at least for me thats a no go.

Ok, I just lost 5 hours in the game. Outstanding fun.
Very few games that are on this level, Guitar Hero and EDF come to mind. First time I started those games up, I thought THIS is what videogames should be about, pure fun.

No worries, I am old enough to have played Herzog 2 back in the day, but I must admit, it wasn't for me.
Later I started to enjoy RTS games.

I would consider Herzog 2 the first RTS game ever released on an electronic device.

Dune II refined it by a mile.

I have the internal WD 4TB and external I have the 8 TB WD Black. Would love to have 8TB internal storage, but it is not the right price for me.

I do not need to see more of Astro and games that got covered already, however it’s clear why they show them to the masses.

As always I „hope“ for a new SOCOM game, preferably one close to SOCOM 2 regarding multiplayer and yes I know how ridiculous this sounds.

Other than that as little of the host of gamescom as possible, much appreciated.

After playing so many games at the same timelast weekend, I try and stick with just one game, which is Actraiser Renaissance. I am in the Northlands playing on hard. It’s a slow and fun game, a bit repetitive.

Still need to check the other 2 out.

If anyone has some recommendations, smaller titles are preferred. It can be any genre, I play all sorts of games.

Yes, PS5 is wired. My internet speed is 1000mbits down and 50 mbits up.
What also happened, but only twice, that I am in the same room as the router and the PS5 and the Portal was stuttering and lost connection once.

Thank you for trying to solve my problem, my WiFi is set up for 5Ghz already.

I remember Power Stone on Dreamcast. Back then I had tons of fun with it.

I have the portal and use it regularly, however I am not happy with the connection stability. Every other WiFi using gadget works way more reliable.

Jeanne d'Arc - playing bits and pieces

Actraiser Renaissance - still in the first area - second boss encounter

Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - losing all the time online, yey

Ashen - 15 hours so far, I like it (only downside my companion is garbage sometimes)

Bioshock Infinite - finished it years ago on PC, but I forgot all about the story. So a fresh experience all over again.

On top of all that I want to continue Returnal, Yakuza 0, Mass Effect 2 and Death Stranding. I am so far behind, fudge.

Impresive numbers, Nintendo did more with handhelds alone. Home console wise and in total (all generations) yes, no doubt Sony is king, but I see there "dominance" crumbling.

If they do not change there ways with PS6, the sales will decline even more.

Thanks for the numbers, however regarding the PS4 sales, it had 4 years longer to get to those numbers and up to that day, it is still available in stores. Let alone it had price cuts after a few years, if I remember correctly, Switch had none so far.

PS2 was great, yet I would guess that around 8-10 million sales were for the DVD player use only (worldwide). Still quite good numbers.

I do not see the dominance in the current day and age anymore by Sony (PS5). Do they lead by the end or even now, most likely, but dominance? Come on.

I was referring to lifetime sales, in my book there is no dominance whatsoever.sony is nowhere near to be market leader compared to Nintendo.

Domination my behind, Switch sold way more, stop bending reality, much appreciated.

I was looking at the Nintendo Switch sales in the same quarter, Nintendo sold ONLY 300.000 less units and for me it makes the PS5 sales look mediocre at best.

And a general thing, Sony shipped 61.7 million units, they did not sell all of them yet.

I find the decline in sales compared to the Q1 of last year speaks volumes.
Also the 80% digital sales statistics, are there only games included that you can get on disc or did they include AW2 and BG3 ( I am aware it’s available in physical form but not everywhere and quite expensive) and all the other digital only games?
