@Ralizah "Nobody cares about" - translation: I'm ignorant about a lot studios and only care about big name publishers, even the ones like Zenimax who are well past their heyday.
Luckily for Warner, most Twitter warriors aren't even gamers and I think this game will sell bucket loads. It's clear they seem to have a lot of confidence in it too.
People need to remember that PSVR2 doesn't require buying controllers or cameras separately.
PSVR1 needed separate purchase of the camera and controllers and cost $560 with everything included, so was actually more expensive. And that doesn't include inflation.
@BamBamBaklava89 There are still more single-player games coming than GaaS, and Sony have proven time and time again that they are the gold standard for them.
It's a really exciting time at Playstation, plus there are more acquisitions in the works, not to mention the massive amount of internal recruitment they have carried out the past few years.
@IonMagi Any numbers to evidence that? The series has always sold well on Playstation, not to mention the fact that PS5 is the dominant next-gen console.
@TeapotBuddha Agreed. From what I'm hearing, Firewalk, Deviation Games, Guerilla and Firesprite are all making PS5 exclusive FPSs, so Sony look to be well-stocked in this area going forward. Hopefully they turn out great, Sony have a great track record.
@GADG3Tx87 Agreed. A lot of Xbox fans seem to think GamePass will keep this level of pricing, for this amount of content forever.
It does seem like MS is happy to continue burning billions in the medium-term, but once they reach what they consider is a critical mass, price increases will be regular and sharp.
@Aexurion They already have Firewalk (ex-Bungie), and Deviation Games (ex-Treyarch) making FPS games for them. Plus you have Guerilla who are rumoured to working on another shooter.

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Wouldn't Be Possible Without PS5
@DanteDevilHunter See exhibit A directly above lol.
Re: Mammoth PS5 Marketing Prompts Horizon Forbidden West Pop-Up Café in Paris
So when Burning Shores comes out and and is next gen only because it goes past what the PS4 can manage hopefully you will stop complaining...
but imagine coming out with an N64-4090 analogy when talking about HFW though 😄
Re: Mammoth PS5 Marketing Prompts Horizon Forbidden West Pop-Up Café in Paris
@TrickyDicky99 And yet somehow it's one of the most technically impressive games ever released.
Re: Harry Potter Game Hogwarts Legacy Looks Like Pure PS5 Magic in Huge Showcase
It's sad that the initial post is even necessary.

Re: Sony Officially Acquires Bungie, Accelerates Vision to Create Generation-Spanning Entertainment
@Upgrayedd Not to mention that Playstation sales were apparently even higher for this years installment.

@IonMagi Are you seriously that naive? 😁
Re: Sony Acquires Haven Studios, the New Developer Led By Jade Raymond
@velio84 'Shaping up to be divisive' - what a load of hyperbolic nonsense.

Re: Sony's MLB The Show 22 Up to $70 on PS5, PS4, No Extra Cost with Xbox Game Pass
@get2sammyb Yeah because MS is happy to eat huge losses on GamePass (for now). You don't seriously think it's sustainable as it stands?
Re: Geoff Keighley Hints at More Gaming Acquisitions in 2022
@NEStalgia Sony could easily afford to buy Square Enix with the cash they have on hand, same applies to Capcom.

@TeapotBuddha If there's one thing Sony doesn't lack, it's the ability and resources to market a game.

Re: Reaction: Activision Blizzard Buyout Is Devastating for PS5, PS4
@IonMagi Never going to happen, and you're theorising about a couple of days, when Sony's market cap is higher than it has been for decades.
Also they apparently had $44bn - $48bn cash on hand at the end of last year.
