This is a huge disappointment for someone who played all the Suikoden games back in the day and is waiting 20 years for this. What happened to the gaming world? I'm too old for this s***.
@LifeGirl @OldGamer999 @Nintendo4Sonic
Fair enough, but I have a totally different experience.
I'm with PlayStation since the beginning in 1994 and I really don't get why folks are so upset with the PS5 in general (not talking about the price of the PS5 Pro and the exclusion of a disc drive).
All I can say is that I really enjoy this generation and like my PS5 experience a lot.
Since the first PlayStation came out in 1994, I love and enjoy PlayStation. Bought all the consoles and handhelds on day one and played pretty much all the "classics" and more.
Yesterday's State of Play was pretty disappointing to me, and except for one game, there was nothing in there for me. So I think it was anything but good. Yes, there are a lot of games on the horizon I'm looking forward to that haven't been shown or announced yet. And sure, there always are people out there complaining for the sake of it, and it feels like nothing can cure that.
But sometimes it bothers me a little as well (in the back of my head) that folks out there seem to see a lot of things so black and white. I wouldn't consider myself to hate almost anything.
Sometimes I get super excited about things, and sometimes I really dislike things. Of course, if I don't like something, I wouldn't write or talk about it (a lot). I always like to focus on things that make me happy. Yesterday I was pretty much disappointed that there wasn't anything interesting for me, and I even felt a bit sad for a moment.
Perhaps it has to do with me not being the target audience anymore and with all these changes in the gaming world that happened in the last 10 years or so, but there still are so many games that I haven't played, so even (hypothetically) if there won't be any games coming out anymore, the backlog is immense.
What stands is, if you don't like something, you should be able to express that without being called a hater. Wouldn't you agree?
No Man's Sky is one of my absolute favourite video games of all time. And they still add new stuff to it frequently for no additional costs. No DLC, micro transaction, live service, pay-to-win nonsense.
This is just one of these amazing video games that are truly special.
All these callous and unsympathetic folks here telling him to "move on". Jesus!
It feels like he's very proud of this game (rightfully so) and is disappointed that suits and capitalism possibly ruined any future for this game.
And not giving up and fighting for something isn't a bad thing.
Most of us will complain and moan for a while but then, like all the other things we didn't wanna have (No manuals in game cases, DLCs, micro transactions, subscription services, cloud gaming, NFTs, etc.) it'll be the norm and broadly accepted. There's always new generations of people coming along and they'll just grow up with the next thing.
Well, I bought one last month. Was waiting for a Slim or Pro but I couldn't wait any longer cause more and more games were coming out that I wanted to play on the next thing and not on PS4 anymore. The Callisto Protocol, Dead Space, Diablo IV, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Gran Turismo 7, Returnal,...

Well that's unfortunate.
No physical, no buy.
Re: PSVR2 Gets Enormous Price Reduction Starting March 2025
A price cut is great news, but I still think it's not worth more than โฌ359.99/ ยฃ299.99.
Re: Evidence Mounts for Seemingly Inevitable Persona 4 Remake on PS5
Persona 1 and 2 need a remake way more than Persona 4.
These games deserve more love and attention.

@LogicStrikesAgain I hear you. Fair point and I agree.

@ShogunRok Are there older Tekken games within Tekken 8?
Like Tekken 5 included Tekken 1-3.
