Re: Sony's Pricey PS5 Pro Is Now Being Outpaced by PS4 Pro Launch Aligned in the US

@LifeGirl @OldGamer999 @Nintendo4Sonic
Fair enough, but I have a totally different experience.
I'm with PlayStation since the beginning in 1994 and I really don't get why folks are so upset with the PS5 in general (not talking about the price of the PS5 Pro and the exclusion of a disc drive).
All I can say is that I really enjoy this generation and like my PS5 experience a lot.

Re: Round Up: What Was Announced During Sony's State of Play Livestream for February 2025?

@LogicStrikesAgain @ButterySmooth30FPS

Couldn't agree more with @Ichiban.

Since the first PlayStation came out in 1994, I love and enjoy PlayStation. Bought all the consoles and handhelds on day one and played pretty much all the "classics" and more.

Yesterday's State of Play was pretty disappointing to me, and except for one game, there was nothing in there for me.
So I think it was anything but good. Yes, there are a lot of games on the horizon I'm looking forward to that haven't been shown or announced yet. And sure, there always are people out there complaining for the sake of it, and it feels like nothing can cure that.

But sometimes it bothers me a little as well (in the back of my head) that folks out there seem to see a lot of things so black and white. I wouldn't consider myself to hate almost anything.

Sometimes I get super excited about things, and sometimes I really dislike things. Of course, if I don't like something, I wouldn't write or talk about it (a lot). I always like to focus on things that make me happy. Yesterday I was pretty much disappointed that there wasn't anything interesting for me, and I even felt a bit sad for a moment.

Perhaps it has to do with me not being the target audience anymore and with all these changes in the gaming world that happened in the last 10 years or so, but there still are so many games that I haven't played, so even (hypothetically) if there won't be any games coming out anymore, the backlog is immense.

What stands is, if you don't like something, you should be able to express that without being called a hater. Wouldn't you agree?

Peace!

Most of us will complain and moan for a while but then, like all the other things we didn't wanna have (No manuals in game cases, DLCs, micro transactions, subscription services, cloud gaming, NFTs, etc.) it'll be the norm and broadly accepted. There's always new generations of people coming along and they'll just grow up with the next thing.

Re: PS5 Sales Surged An Outrageous 316% in the UK Last Month

Well, I bought one last month. Was waiting for a Slim or Pro but I couldn't wait any longer cause more and more games were coming out that I wanted to play on the next thing and not on PS4 anymore. The Callisto Protocol, Dead Space, Diablo IV, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Gran Turismo 7, Returnal,...
