@McDosy dont try too hard to read between the lines and don't be so naive as to think it's the creatives in charge of the financial decisions. This is modern economics, Investors and other stake holders drive the horrendous decisions that hurt them in the end. Maybe u shouldn't assume lack of faith but there's certainly impatience from those at top to try to show numbers on those sheets. Again if they won't protect the value of my purchase for even a month, there's no way I'll buy into it till it's at a reasonable sale price ... Weeks after release
Why pay full price when the publishers don't have faith in their own products pricing and slash off $20-30 within a month? Yup, I'm patient and I got a backlog. I'll see y'all at BF
I think a remake would be fantastic. Keep the things that were amazing about this entry and implement what you've learned since. Sounds basic but that was the games problem to begin with. Development cycle was soooo long, things had become outdated before it even released.
I only wish ps+ prem was priced more competitively. Yes it's less than gamepass but you also don't get as much. Gamepass can also be obtained for 1/3 the price on a reg basis. $160 a year it's a tough pill to swallow. Maybe add another tier that gives prem benefits without extra?
The whole digital only benefits only the publisher. Digital/physical still has to be submitted for certification and any changes beyond that is what we've come to know as day one patch.
It's not like they are dropping the price $10 to match Steam, are they?

Dot get me wrong, I'm not overly impressed with the demo. I hope the final product will have an option (like many recent games) to reduce protagonist idle chatter. I mean I wish I could stick a sock in kratos mouth (runs to hide) but don't hear anyone complaining about the incessant and predictable overly surly dialogue. Yes kratos is cool but people sure have GoW Ragnarok a hype fueled easy pass. If you stop and look there is some wonky animations (look at a chain/rope as it rises/fall or worse water that falls on the wrong side of a dam when u block/freeze a waterway). So yeah... No sure why these same folks who praise GOW are bent out of shape over forespoken. Yup GoW is still one of my favorites but I can still be objective about it's flaws. I'm sure square will polish the game and it'll be an enjoyable and solid 7.5 on release. seems like SE is firmly aiming for this AA market and just giving up on the 3rd A.

Yup, it's just dlc but for some the reason to pre-order between retailer A or B. Their entire messaging about what's included with each edition has been pure crap. Not holding my breath for this one.
A clunker (curse) an uhm ok game (tribes) and a game that's already included in every other subscription... Not much of a freebie that one (fifa) add all the micro-transactions and it's another crap month
"unexpected technical issues"? That's the biggest load of... What, did they not play test the games? If it didn't meet their expectations, why release it? It's a quick cash-in. A quick and coldly calculated move.
Do they want a pass? Make it an upgrade from the original trilogy and then allow users to pick which version to play

Grrr absolutely yes. Specially if they added some of the in universe stuff learned from xiv, XII, advance, etc but kept the tone of the original.
