For a second I thought these cartridges would work in conjunction with the internal ssd to give us those super fast load times? Or are they next gen throwbacks to ps1 memory cards? But yeah, don’t price them too high Sony! The cheaper they can be, the more the people will buy them silly!

@3MonthBeef I hear ya. But i think I just started go grow out (grow out?) Of Nintendo games! Shocker i know. But i still have the handhelds so al ways keep my self in the Nintendo loop. I'll get a switch one day. But only when i can buy a metroid game, a Fzero game and a starfox game all in the same year. Then will pick up Zelda and Mario just for the hell of it......

I like the switch! It’s was always a good idea! All gamers must have thought about bringing their favorite console game and continuing it on the go, and it’s the same as the home experience. If wi fi were powerfull enough then we vita owners could stream PS4 games while on the go too and as of 2013/14 onwards..... oh well. 😔

@NintendoFan4Lyf sorry man I didn’t mean to get high almighty. They use to be, in a way still are? But grew up and playstation was the best next step! I still have a Wii U and two new 3DS XL’s.

@playstation1995 I’m 44. Loved Nintendo back in the day. And as a teen. Early 20’s. Early 30’s. It started getting a bit fed up with Mario. And even Zelda a bit! I’ll get a switch when I can purchase fzero, Metroid and a dedicated star fox game, all at the same time......

@kyleforrester87 tell that to the PSVR owners now...... vita is another controller for PS4 that you can already stream PS4 games on and more. Plus the rumoured ps5 controller, which happens to look exactly like a psp but with augmented reality technology? Still using my move sticks.....

@kyleforrester87 backwards compatibility for entire playstation library including psp & Vita. Oh and I’m into “buying physical games to put in my gaming console to play games! Gonna buy me a mini disc recorder soon too!

Let’s say the rumours about the 5’s specs are true, which would mean the pro would be 12 or more TFLOPS for sure, 20G of ram and the cpu and gpu being even more than what is rumored now yes? And so on and so forth? And at a price of 450/530? There’s my day one purchase........

And that the TFLOPS will be 12 plus. A high enough (fast?) cpu. And plans for ray tracing. Wow, all this and games are running in 4K 60? Can Sony’s machine be future proof for 8K? Can the will the ps5 upscale old games to 8K?

@Turismo4GT @Turismo4GT look. I said ages ago that Sony better make two machines. A cheaper version and the Daddy version. You know for a fact, that gamers will go for the hardcore machine and parents and the un-clued up will buy the cheaper version. I would always buy the expensive model even if it’s priced at 500! And no thatthe next machines will be more expensive to make, so might be expensive to buy. Microsoft is definitely going this route and I think their next machine might be more powerful than the ps5. I would pay through the roof to get the more powerful machine that beats the second Xbox. I’m a working man after all.........

@Amppari no matey. PS3 too for sure. And those ps2 gems. Plus, if all games can be upscailed to today’s graphics and speed (60FPS) then I would even break out the ps1 games and try wipeout, colony wars and G Police......

@Octane you like their flow charts? So do I. Especially the ones that state it’ll have 16G of ram. And 12 or more TFLOPS. A plan for ray tracing. And forget the GPU (well don’t but....) we want a high enough cpu! Bandwidth and blah blah blah! That’s the chart I wanna see.......

You have switch, pro and the box x? My man! Good on ya! I only have two ps4’s and two 3DS’s. Ps5 is a given, will have over 200 games by the time the 5 comes out. Only Metroid, fire Emblem and FZero can get me back on Nintendo.....

@fluggy ok. But what’s wrong with a “good game? No game is perfect. I was stupid enough to buy the Deadpool remaster for PS4 yet I’m enjoying a non good game? What about dragon quest 11. If that were only just “good” would it put me off buying that game? Hell no! Yakuza games are good going on excellent! Gravity rush 1&2 just good? So not buying? Fist of the North Star? Man, I’m glad I ain’t you..... lol kidding.

@Agramonte they need to hold back a tad and wait for Microsoft to reveal all. They seem really confident that their next machine will be more powerful. And it needs to be to run the ray tracing tech on the next Xbox. And Sony can afford to release the ps5 after the Xbox I reckon, but don’t give them a years lead? Oh, 2020 onwards. Might be 8K ready too? (Upscaling?)
