@IllusiveMan First time hearing this from sony fans. See youll get used to their mentailty. Is a simple concept.. if you are not 1 exculsive to sony 2 you even attempt to be on any other box 3 you make 10/10 game but skip playstation.. You the most trash game to ever exist.. signed every playstation fan ever (i had this behaviour in ps3 era so i get it)

Lol they tried to pull halo and fable too apparently but contract too far in 🤣. I suspect clockwork was the exclusive plan but they panicked, close their eye and did a spin and it landed on gears (imagine sharma playing tag blind folded and she just happen to touch the gears devs instead) 🤣. Wont lie i feel bad for gears devs cus i think eday shouldnt be excuslive amd would have been a good couch coop games for sony fans..

There is more news to this situation. Alot of rumors around that they were gonna cancel halo and fable but those contracts a locked in

So been reading more news about exculsive. It turns out they were gonna pull halo and fable from playstation but the contracts are too far in for them to back out but gears was one they were able to do in time.. hmmm

@AdamNovice Ah you see that where this gets intreasting cus ps exclusive arent selling as well as ps4 buddy, sony games dont need pc or more accurate term here is pc gamer didnt care about sony games enough as much as playstation fans do for xbox games but pc fans will buy xbox games on pc hmmm intreasting.. i know quite a handful of causal gamers that would make you eat your words if you saw their xbox library.. they do buys games not just the way you think (seriously look for any rogue like and xbox will be up there in sales number).. bt i can agree gamepass is canablizing intial sales of their Aaa games. What microsoft needs isnt ps but it needs to work on it PC ecosystem properly... Or do you believe they need the switch 2 cus i can tell you for a fact they selling alot on switch 2 as well (i literally have 3 xbox games on switch 2, not counting the many that have released on their store front already)

Ah i rememeber back in my youth arguing with a xbox 360 friends about how ps4 is gonna be amazing and the next big thing.. i touted the ps3 trajectory. He said i was delusional.. staunch 360 guy(still is), said micrsoft are riding high and would smash ps4 to oblivion. God was the most funniest thing to me back then, legit most laugh i had cus the xbone happened straight after 🤣. Why do i bring this up.. well alot of you lot on pushsquare remind me of the delulu xbox 360 fanboys in those days. Imagine having internet search engine on ps4 and losing it on ps5 and you guys thinking you are getting more in your box cus graphics.. lord have mercy on us and yet people are moving to pc cus of basic features we had on ps4.. but no it cus of the games and exclusive is all i hear in gaming this days. Apparently basic quality of life features are out the window in term of discussion. I too was gonna sell my xbox tbh when they said no more exclusive bt i knew they would reverse course when the brand identity went down under and i also told a friend they will reduce gamepass when everyone speak with their wallet and quite and they did. Honestly alot of folk here keep giving pikachu faces on thing an average person could see or predict from a mile away. Inadvertenly as well push square constant cristiscm of microsoft is making them better.. how about we use this website to give sony legit cristicsm that would improve the sony platform cus they are losing players to pc no matter how you all cover your eyes on that topic.. its happening

@AdamNovice same could be said about playstation. Not much of a big user base if they had to port their exculsive games to pc

@AdamNovice Ermm this is pretty smart if u ask me. They want halo to be their trojan horse.. sony struggling with fps mulitplayer.. boom microsoft comes over ps store with theirs instead. Halo is up there with COD(in terms of recognition) so they are probably expecting the fps shooter boys on playstation will turn up for that, we will see but wont suprise me if this sells well. Alot of guy who migrated to ps from 360 will probably be there for this, who knows. Gear just isnt halo so why bother

@Bingoboyop Sega and microsoft have a deep history is probably the reason... and i have my money microsoft are at this moment aggressively courting them for future acquastion. They do want a close tie to a japanese dev team and they have been lately pumping money into sega projects. Tbh sony and sega relationship is the pretty weird one.

Where is that guy on push square who commented to me "Unlucky" reply back to me on the previous marathon post when i said that the server error issue was why i left the game and wont touch it again. Phahaha yh everyone thought marathon issues is gameplay but for those of us who were part of the 88,000 spike most fell off and wont comeback cus of toxic gate keepers along with terrible servers where we lose all our loot from a freaking server error instead of the game. They need to fix that sh*** for a extraction shooter

Oh maybe just maybe the average casual gamer are not putting much stocks on sonys (GOTY games) like we all do on push square. Those 10/10 awards we keep handing them doesnt seem to be resonating with the larger gaming crowd as 10/10s...otherwise we would be hearing those game break records with massive amount of gamers luading them like gta 5, baldurs gate 3, witcher 3, god of war remake 1, redead redemption 2, last of us 1, expedition 33 etc.

@Sammy_G Ehh thats black ops.. the MW part of cod hasnt yet flopped tbf..i mean not as bad as black ops. Plus have you gone on nintendo life.. alot of folks are intreasted, now that we get a call of duty on switch 2 (haha cant wait to see how this part will pan out 🤣). Tbh i dont even know why i am defending cod lol not even a fan of the franchise apart from morden warfare

@SMJ my guy dont mind them, they want cod to fail so microsoft fails as well but this isnt bungie and marathon😂. Tbf to most people, i hated cod as well (do enjoy mw but i still aviod blackops games) till my adulthood, but can now understand why my older sibilings and friends enjoyed the game (its not time consuming of a game). But like someone said earlier cod is abit like mcdonald.
Also massive also.. any one else lamenting the death of splitscreen couch play in FPS games.. like i had a friend over playing old school world at war campagin and even halo coop and splitficition, mario karts.(so much fun even till now)... man we legit lost an important social aspect of gaming i think needs to desperately come back.

@Northern_munkey unlucky indeed but i am putting a bad word of mouth for this game. Anyone ask me in my friend group, id tell them to avoid it like the plague, there is more wasting your time kicking rocks

@Northern_munkey i got the game. I stopped my psn last week subsequently as i took all my gear in my vault and went to cryo archive. Wanna know for me the funny bit about marathon.. and all of my 7 cryo archive run.. 5 of them were absolutely great.. legit me and this random squad were insink with no mic.. we cleared a whole lobby.. was the most fun fps moment so i get the love for the game. Wanna know what shattered me for marathon.. we went to the extract on all 5 time with god tier loot(something i never tasted in the game) but suddenly "Error code, internet connection for this session has timed out".. get kick out only for my team mates to extract successful and me to lose all my loot to no fault of mine. Thats all it took for me to say f bungie and f marathon... when it happened to me in apex i stopped playing in season 20.. when blackslop 6 did... i proceeded to uninstall the game. I have reciept if you want cus i saved those pictures to show why marathon is simply a ***** game by service... why would i fustrate my self when i am losing loot to error code and not game desgin. As someone who has now played all bungie pvp mode..(destiny i tried crucible more than raids, (love gambit). Halo which i hate but had fun pvp with friends) bungie has fallen off the cliff without a bungie rope to bounce back.. this guys knew the fundamental of online play but somehow are getting worse at it.

@Deadlyblack Honestly people make "nothing burger" on playstation article this days wont lie.. pushsquare is guilty of this as well. I created this account beacuse they have succefully rage baited me with their annoying article like jason with some of his tweets. Like "duh"no parent company are gonna be happy with their golden child taking long to deliver a product especailly when they used to be able to do it consistently without losing quality. Highly doubt its changed sony view and handling of naugthy dog though. They will still be given the rockstar treatment compared to the other studios. Honestly i feel bad for sony this gen.. no body is giving proper feedback to them instead of running fluff peices of article about them

This franchise going dodo bird is also the reason i feel nothing towards sony at this stage in my life. If microslop can keep ***** halo and gears and forza going.. sony excuse for how they treat their legacy games (jailing them into console generation) is down right a insult to game presevation and retro gaming.
