Re: Ninja Theory's Devil May Cry Is Definitely Getting a Demo

JayMiller1988

The white hair excuse for not liking a game is missing the fact that the actual problem with this is that Dante has a completely different attitude than the old Dante.

That said, a different attitude isn't bad for me, just different. I won't be getting the demo, but definitely getting the game.

@mario300

Brotherhood is the third in the series, but it didn't bring a new chapter to anything, it simply was an extension of Ezio's original story.

Barring ACIII: Liberation, a numbered AC game is going to have a new assassin (ACI = Altair, ACII = Ezio, ACIII = Connor).

Re: Talking Point: Why Sony Won't Be Too Worried About the Wii U

JayMiller1988

@Varia01
Are you trolling or something? Yes, Wii U is more powerful than PS3 and Xbox 360, but by about 1.5x... That's nothing, yes it's better, but what will they say when we get a PS4 which makes this 1.5x sound like child's play?

Don't take this as I'm not going to get a Wii U, but if PS4 games come out on Wii U, guess where I'm going to download them? Wii U has a few very good exclusives (Zelda, Metroid come to mind), but when it comes to the "Wii U being a powerhouse" you pass over into wonderland. I like Nintendo and all, but we have to be a bit more objective.

Re: Review: Mass Effect 3 (PlayStation 3)

JayMiller1988

I had no problem with the ending, but the free DLC that will expand on it will be interesting.

Personally, I think ME2 is still the strongest. Yeah, it didn't conclude anything, but I think I can say without a doubt that it was game of 2010.

Re: Sony: US Vita Launch Generated "Exceptional Sales"

JayMiller1988

I opted to get a 3DS last year, so that's 250 bucks (I got it at Christmas, it pretty much cost that exact amount) out of my wallet. I'm saving up for the large array of games that will be released in the future for all censored and PS4, not to mention the PS3 games I am not going to risk not getting. So Vita is on the low end of the priority list.

Re: Ubi: Assassin's Creed III "Perfect for Series Newcomers"

JayMiller1988

I agree, by the time Revelations came around, the hardcore fans of the series were "in the know" about a lot of Ezio's personality, etc. I think moving to a new chapter is perfect for the AC series' success on the market- plus it looks like hardcore fans will have some adjusting to do with buildings-to-woods.

Re: Assassin's Creed III Using New Engine Technology

JayMiller1988

This is my most anticipated game of the year... Well, this or Mass Effect 3... But in any case, the trailer looks awesome, and it could very well be game of the year if they put as much effort into it as they did to 1 and 2; but at the moment, the first remains my favorite- hopefully this one changes that (even though stealth isn't my biggest forte).

Re: Talking Point: Do We Need PlayStation 4 Yet?

JayMiller1988

In my line of thought, late 2013 or early 2014 are the most feasible. People have been having countdowns since 2010 for PS4. The PS3 is fine for another year or so. They are just now making moola out the wazoo which would make up for any losses they have. The PS Vita is going strong, so I see no need for a 2012 PS4, we don't want to be overloaded with new systems.

Plus, really, Wii U is coming out in holiday 2012, does Sony really want to release at the same time? They are good developers and marketers, but against Wii U? Seriously.
