As someone who owns all of the previous Saints Row games, I’m looking forward to the reboot.
The first 2 SR games were great and were much more grounded and then 3 and 4 decided to take it a bit further into the realms of ridiculousness (not knocking it, I loved the idea of having super powers in SR4), but I’ve seen a lot of hate already for this reboot because of the trailer for some reason saying it looks like they’re going “woke” (not sure a lot of people understand what woke actually means based on that)
If the rumours about this company I've seen online are legit, they have a habit for doing things like this dating back to 2015
Until something solid actually comes out from them (i.e. a trailer/gameplay footage) then I stand by what I said on the previous article about them which is that they are seemingly a bunch of trolls
If they legit had a trailer ready to go and there was a problem putting it on the PS5 app, why not release it on YouTube where you have the maximum reach.
At this point until I see anything to prove otherwise I'm just going to assume that this entire "game" is just a troll
Everything so far seems to have been trying to make people think it's a new Kojima title and people grasping at straws to try and find threads to hang on to.
@claytortot213 What hypocrisy? Microsoft bought the developer, since the game is now officially an Xbox Games Studios IP, then they can do what they want with it. It also makes sense for them to only release the upgrade on their platform, it's not like the game no longer exists on Playstation, it just plays better on their platform.
It's not like they threw millions of dollars at a 3rd party dev like Square Enix to make FFVIIR and FFXVI exclusive to their platform. Or paid to get an additional character for a multiplatform game like Spiderman in Avengers
