Doubled down and bought the deluxe edition a few days ago and mannn, this game truly is something special. Sandfall deserve all the praise they're getting and safe to say, their future is secured. If they decide to make another turn based RPG game in the future, then I'm all for it. They've definitely proven themselves VERY capable.

Yup, I said the PS5 was going to be the last gen I'd play games on and I'm sticking by that. Can't wait to move to PC and get TF away from all this nonsense.

@anoyonmus Can you not turn this into a console war thing? Some people don't care about exclusivity battles and just want to support the games they love, like everybody else.

Personally, it's not even about the acting or the casting. The acting is great. I just don't think it's written well and doesn't do some of the IP's best moments any justice. Episode 1 - 3 was okay. After that, it went downhill for me. Probably won't watch season 2.

All I want is a 2.5D HD Remake of this game and I'm happy. Chrono Trigger and FFVII were the games that got me into JRPGs when I was seven years old. Still have many fond memories of CT.

I'll add it to my library. Doubt I'll play it still, but hey. Maybe when I'm bored enough lol

I'm aware about the story complaints for Daybreak 2. It's mostly been described as a "filler game". But considering I'm a massive Trails fan, I'll be playing it regardless. Not quite sure how to feel about the reuse assets complaint though.

All the Cold Steel games, including Trials into Reverie alongside the Zero games all used the same assets, while having the three or four new locations. It's kinda expected with the Trail games.

I will never know why some people have a problem with challenging games. Not every game is made for you and that's completely fine.

@Dr_ENT Wrong. Have you even played DMC... Stella Blade is nothing like Bayonetta or DMC, mechanic wise.

@Icey664 The irony in this is that Stella Blade operates just as closely as a Souls game. The only difference is that it's more action orientated. Similar to Nioh.

@Andy22385 Exactly. I sold my launch PS5 with Musicmagpie and got 245 quid back. Then I paid the 455 difference. If people think 700 is bad. They definitely won't enjoy PC gaming.

@Shad361 The name itself alone, sells. I've noticed plently of flaws within the game myself, but that was never going to stop the majority of the fanbase either hyping it up or defending it. Game's a massive skip to me.

Compete in what way excatly? The majority of the gaming audience knows full well already, that Nintendo are known for their individuality in the gaming market. They make a wide variety of fun games and are clearly not prioritising photo realistic experiences. While I don't consider myself a Nintendo fan by any means, I do respect them for always doing their own thing.

@Icey664 Take your time with the experience. It's one of those games that greatly rewards your attention to all of it's mechanics and dialogue. It may feel overwhelming at first, but tailor your experience to what's comfortable for you. Of course, if all else fails. It probably isn't for you and that's okay

@Kienda In regards to "keeping up" that's mainly for challenging endgame content. If you just wanna enjoy the game and pull for whoever you want, then you're good

I'm currently playing Path of Exile 2, doing a fresh run on FFVII Rebirth on the Pro and playing abit of Zenless Zone Zero.

@PuppetMaster Fully agree with your last part about Catherine. I'm 28 and pretty much every character in that game was relatable in one way or another. I love Persona, but perhaps I need to accept that I'm no longer the target audience lol

Metaphor reminded me that I'm yearning for an adult cast in a Persona game. At least a cast around their mid 20s with a mentor character in their 40s or 50s.

The problem with consistently creating a young cast is that the dialogue ends up becoming limited, and their topics to explore are quite predictable.

That doesn't mean to say I love the Persona games any less, but eventually the high school drama becomes stale overtime. Infinite Wealth proved that an adult cast is just as entertaining.

Extremely happy for Ben Starr! The man's undeniably talented and his voice acting career will continue to rise further over the years. Also, just a genuinely stand up guy in his interviews as well. 👍🏻

God bless to him. His games have given me a great deal of comfort during my darkest years. RIP.

@ironcrow86 What are you on about? A large majority of the characters are from the books themselves lmao It's not like they were randomly added characters for the sake of the game. They're all well established and well written.
