I practically had to turn my floor standers up to max just to hear that guy hear the noise whilst stood centimetres away from his PS5, really sounds like a non-issue to me. I can hear the fan on mine if I put my ear to it but a meter away and nothing.
Having received my PS5, I can safely say this isn't what it looks like on PS5, because Demon Souls and Astro's Playroom are nothing like YouTube's 4k60fps streams, the bitrate is so low and combined with the lack of HDR anything you can watch online feels distinctly last gen regardless of the source.
@BAMozzy I also question what detail Xbox games drop to be able to claim 4K, it's not like an extra 2TF is magically going to allow it to play 4K games at max settings.
These comments by so called 'insiders' are a bunch of nonsense, what is even meant by exotic? The PS5 doesn't ask you to do anything special to optimise your game, it doesn't have a weird split-RAM arrangement or a GPU that's hard to fill with jobs to do, or an SSD that's kind of but maybe not quite fast enough. It doesn't ask you to handle compression or the complexities of audio. It's pretty-much go out of the box and builds upon the much loved API of the PS4.
I also never understand what people mean by 'struggles' with 4K. A Geforce 2080Ti struggles with 4k on max settings, it's an arbitrary thing, you can keep turning the graphics detail up, if it gets too slow you have to lower your resolution, the extra theoretical 2TF of the Xbox Series X isn't going to magically allow it to play 4k games at maximum detail, it's going to have to draw a balance somewhere and we have no idea what that balance is, if you go with Halo as your guiding light it's all resolution no detail, which in my eyes is worse.
No one has noticed it before because it's not on Sony's Official photos from the webpage i.e. the ones seen by the press at announcement. Where have these photos come from?

Re: Xbox Series X|S Runs PS2 Games Better Than PS5
Pretty misleading title, it's not that it can play PS2 games better, just that it can play PS2 games with a hack.

Re: Random: The Web Is Freaking Out Over a Tiny PS5 Controller Detail
@GMScribe Replying to my own post, weirdly I can see the detail on the Sony US blog reveal video, but not the one posted to youtube.
