I for one will never buy a game at launch. I wait for reviews & if the reviews are 'game is broken' then I won't touch it until it's fixed. With the way developers are these days it's just not worth it, to many are previewing upscaled animated clips of their games to make them look incredible & then delivering down scaled unfinished disappointments.
With next gen consoles it really should be the standard. I've no doubt the game will be good, let's face it ND games are always awesome but if they can't get a new game to run at 1080p & 60FPS on the PS4 then no one will.
For me the only thing the Xbone has going for it now is Its online performance & if your a massive Halo fan then that as well I guess. PSN reputation has been tarnished over the years unfortunately, it's all about perception & reputation at this stage not just the price of the hardware. Microsofts dropping its price over Xmas was just to cash in on parents that know jack about gaming & were naturally going to go for the cheaper deal. 2015 is the defining year, if the exclusives are as good as they are making out & there are no major issues with the PSN then the Ps4 could stomp all over Microsoft.
The fact that this is GOTY indicates it's been a poor year for games really. After several hours I found it pretty repetitive & quite frustrating in parts. Not played Dragon Age yet so can't comment on that.
