Absolutely stoked to see tmnt cowabunga collection. When I got my NES all those years ago I got it with one of the tmnt games on there and the first Mario game. Really wanted to buy it for the nostalgia but seemed a little bit too expensive but now I finally get to relive some very early childhood memories.
Really the biggest gripe I have from stopping a purchase is the removal of hotseat multiplayer which is an even bigger problem imo for the console versions
I've enjoyed the ps5, I think the controller is excellent. But for me the ps2 still is the pinnacle of the playstation era for me probably followed by the 1st and the 3rd.
I think for me it generally ends up coming down to the games and while there has been some excellent ones, I feel like if you aren't the biggest fan of the third-person action adventure style games the offerings are quite limited. There is no big fps game for example. I feel like Sony have a winning formula with the adventure games that a lot of people love and I can see why some feel the ps5 is the best time for them. But I also feel like there's an element of playing it safe. I want to see more titles from other genres.
I also feel like the UI is quite bland on this console with a lack of customisation.
On the other hand I owned a series x and that offered even less, as someone who also enjoys the pc games it never made much sense to me to play on the xbox. I sold my series x and I still use the ps5. Its a personal thing, but at least I still think the ps5 is a great and the best console of the current generation. I just feel like there's something more that we could be getting and hopefully that will show in the years ahead.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Sony start creating a title similar to COD in the next five years. Makes much more sense to create competition than buy it. It's difficult, sure, but certainly not impossible.
Unless something has changed this released on pc early in the year to very mediocre reviews, so I wouldn't recommend on getting this before some prior investigation
@GorosBat it is perplexing how they arrived on such a limited stash size. It really isn't enough, and if you want to play multiple classes it's almost impossible. While I think changing builds shouldn't be absolutely free, it is so cumbersome and difficult to do so in D4 that you either do as you have and waste time and resources, only to potentially want to change back anyway or you just don't get to test out different items and build flavours which kind of negates one of the aspects that makes arpgs fun for so many people. Definitely needs something to make it a bit more friendly to the gamer.
I gave it a 7 but I think in a couple of years it could be a 9. Far too many issues with the game currently (stash size, limited build variety/viability, itemisation, level scaling etc) and needs more enticing options at endgame. But I do think it's a solid foundation. I hope I would give it a 9 in the future and that the game becomes a regular part of my gaming diet, but for now I had a nice snack and I'm feeding my appetite elsewhere.
@djlard on the other hand it's no surprise that one of the top path of exile players was the first to hit it considering it is basically his job considering he used to play starcraft and dota professionally. But yes I agree, Blizzard shouldn't be holding races that you pay for early access to. That is not the fault of people who wanted to push for the world first though.
I just want MGS 1 and MGS 2 remakes. I'm sorry to anyone who's really excited for 3 but the first two games were absolutely the best and the hype I had for the second game is still unmatched to this day. I had a VHS of the trailer that came with a very early PS2 magazine and I literally wore the tape out. It was truly a huge step for gaming and while MGS 3 is a brilliant game as well, those first two were really groundbreaking for their time. Please, just give us all three and make everyone happy
As a big arpg fan with a huge amount of hours in the genre, I finally bit the bullet at 9 euros to give this a try on PC. One installation and 11 minutes 22 seconds later, I requested a refund.
Battle passes need to stop especially on games like suicide squad. There's no excuse for it. When it's a multiplayer free to play game like apex legends I don't mind. But this is just an insult to the gaming community.
After not really playing beat em ups since soul calibur 2, the early tekkens and sf 2 turbo on the mega drive I realised I'm just too old to compete in this beta. I'll rename the genre beat me up
Was just thinking about Kula World the other day but couldn't remember it's name. Frustratingly difficult at times but addictive and rewarding game. Some might call it the dark souls of beach ball games...
If you don't like these games personally that's fine but being ignorant of the fact that some of these games have massive userbases and incomes definitely strengthens Microsoft's hand. As a mainly pc gamer these days who also has played PS since the beginning I saw no reason a year ago to get a Series X. Now I own one as well as my PS5, Switch and PC. The game pass simply provides a lot of great value and it would be wise for Sony to announce their new model soon and start giving a bit more value to their dedicated player base to provide stronger competition. Cod will sell xboxs by itself if it goes exclusive. Playstation isn't going away by any means but this is a comprehensive win for Microsoft in solidifying and expanding their future.

Trivial pursuit should probably be on here. As far as quiz games go it does it pretty well and has a nice difficulty level.
