Most of the best parts of this game were already done in GoT, they've just downgraded the characters and story to a one dimensional 'angry woman wants revenge' bore fest. I put it away after 30 hours.
So, if Konami get one thing that succeeds they learn the wrong lesson from it, instead of realising they've got IP that people want new games from, they just remake old stuff instead. Sounds about right 🙄
The cinematic sets the tone and gets some eyes on a game a lot of people wouldn't have had a clue about, so it's done the job it set out to. No-one was expecting to see everything the game will have to offer right away, so let's see what comes in the gameplay reveal in the summer.
I'm in Junon and I'd give it a 6 so far, visually it's excellent, combat's tougher (good), the main characters are all still engaging. Too much Chadley, girl Chadley (I forget her name) doesn't shut up, NPC's are annoying, the jumping about isn't fluid at all, the Moogles are nightmare fuel and there's faaaar too much bloated rubbish to do (I had to hunt down three pieces of wood to get a guy out of bed, gtfo with that *****). I think I'll just ignore most of the rubbish extra stuff and crack on with the story from here and hopefully it gets better 🤞🏻

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Sales Have Been 'Fine', Nothing More, Nothing Less
Just fine sounds about right, the game's just fine, boring combat, interesting story, nothing groundbreaking really.
