This trailer gives me goosebumps

It just defies all logic to me that the xbox one could be doing so well considering they have not clarified any major issues, and we haven't seen E3 yet. Sony has done almost everything right or better this gen, so if the xbox still sells better than the PS4 then there is nothing Sony could ever do to pull out ahead. It also worries me that this is in the U.K. So what does that bode for the states? Its just almost impossible to believe and I have to believe that Microsoft has done something here and it wouldn't be too far fetched to say that considering the fake applause at the Xbox One reveal. Hearing the Xbox break records after all the bad ideas that they support is just totally discouraging and I fear for the future of gaming.

All in the UK too, this is not even here in the U.S.

This came out today...I am totally confused. How is xbox one setting pre order records all over the place? Am I in the twilight zone?

My point was, whether they work or not, the large majority of gamers dont care for motion controls.

I don't doubt Nintendo makes a good zelda game, but most of what you said just sounds like opinion to me. The poll I gave you overwhelmingly supports the fact that the core of the gaming community just don't care for motion controls. They may have a good fit here or there, but overall gamers prefer to have a button controller and don't want to play skyrim swinging an inaccurate motion control stick through the air for hours.

You haven't been paying attention to what "real" gamers care about lately if you think they care about motion controls. Motion controls are one of the main complaints by hardcore gamers, just go do some research. Motion controls are for casual gamers due to their ease of use.

I have to buy the PS4 and the Vita, if not having the camera drops the price then I am all for it.

Sell separately, know real gamer cares about that motion crap!

I am extremely excited this year for the PS4...beastly specs and killer ip's!!!

Being able to play PS4 games on the vita is HUGE for me.

This will be another must have on launch day.

Thats cool man, go with what you makes you happy. I know a lot of Nintendo fans. Playstation for me offers by far the best games and the best experience based on hardware. I have always loved Playstation and will probably continue based on their gamer-centric approach, they have only reinforced my opinion of them with the approach they have taken with the PS4. All these companies are about the bottom line in the end, Microsoft is just a joke and I personally feel they didn't make a games machine, the only thing that might possibly make me buy one is if they had an exclusive like wow and even then it would be to play that game, and that game only.

Also on VG 24/7 it says that there are no sources to confirm this article and its almost hersay at this point.

@Gamer83, umm I would agree with you past the point of the kinectbox, but Sony is hands down the best console out there, it always has been other than some functionality online, but that is all about to change.

It doesn't matter, Playstation is where its at, the games are much better and the online will be just as good or better now. I wouldn't read too much into this article, its way too early.

Can someone tell me why Gamestop keeps playing PR for Xbox one? First the CEO said it was "very compelling" and now Gamestop says that their 2013 outlook improved after the xbox one reveal even after the fact that the xbox one announcement caused Gamestop stock to dip. The Xbox One also seems to have been designed to cater to this system for the fee for used games policy and trading in the cloud. Something is up!

Just take my money and shut up.

The wiiU is not an option for me. If this is implemented on the playstation I will still get one. The exclusives are just that good and I rarely pay full price for a game.

I have the platinum in infamous 1 and 2, cant wait to play this one.

I think this is the most important factor for Sony, Microsoft was killing them with marketing. The ubiquitous xbox logo was in more commercials than I care to remember, yet the Playstation logo was neither here nor there. I think with the 3 it was tough for Sony to get behind it because the cell processor was so complex and they knew developers were wary. The 4 is a completely different story and EVERYONE knows it. The 4 is a beast and I hope Sony just continues with the aggressive marketing and never stops...it is soo important that we see a company confident and proud of their product. Keep the ads coming Sony!

Why do people keep saying the specs are the same? We haven't been giving full disclosure on the specs and I didn't notice the 8gb of GDDR RAM being a 5 instead of a 3, also the Tflops were much higher on the PS4 so how are these specs very similar?

I totally agree with the above. I warched the entire event and I was waiting for some big exclusive surprise...nope! Not one thing at that presentation impressed me. The only thing I felt would be talked about were the sports games because I know how popular they are, however not with me. Sony has so many awesome exclusive games going on it isn't funny. I was in shock at the end of the xbox event, I really, really thought they would have a secret weapon. Wow!

Sony is beating the crap out of MS in the exclusive arena...last of us, killzone, last guardian, beyond two souls, resistance, LBP, god of war, infamous, gran turismo, deep down looks awesome, there is also a new ip from santa monica studios that is to be announced and then there is uncharted! I will take these games over timed DLC any day of the frickin week!!

In the end what matters are the games and playstation has the games. MS has perfected the art of awareness though and Sony has improved lately, hopefully it continues and we keep getting superlative games like last of us and god of war. I know for me once I realized that playstation was more about games, which I've noticed for a few years now, and xbox was more leaning more towards being a cable box that happens to play games, I have been strongly pro playstation. Games are what matter. My cable box plays cable. My playstation is for games. All else is secondary.
