Re: Fallout 4 Finally Drops a Bomb with DLC Details

Compudoc

Too late,... ,boring and too expensive.
As I am only really interested in new areas/quest type DLC I'm thinking of giving this one a pass.
Really disliked the building micromanagement in F4 and furthermoreMy back catalog of games I have yet to play is becoming ridiculously large.
Looking forward to Witcher3 dlc though.

Re: First Impressions: The Division Shows Promise on PS4, But There Are Worries

Feeling rather disappointed after playing the beta for several hours.
Graphics are nice, but setting just is not inviting for me.
The story seems very far-fetched and is entirely unbelievable.
The biggest disappointments though are in the repetitiveness of the encounters (already feels like a grind) and in the implementation of the Dark Zone.
Being an M.D., with a background in treating VHFs in West and central Africa, I found the story about the viral outbreak, and its subsequent handling total rubbish.
Furthermore, as an M.D. I refuse to shoot avatars of "real people", even if they are 13 year old obnoxious so-called "elite killers", with no regard watsoever for human life.
I was looking for a deep single player stealth RPG, but I got a run of the mill Multiplayer frag fest for frustrated freckle-faced f_ckups.
The game is probably going to be a hit,...just not for me.
Going back to the Diamond Dogs ASAP.

Re: Guide: Where to Find All 61 Treasures in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune on PS4

What's the point.
All these useless, pointless secondary activities detract from the main adventure.
Uncharted games really do not need all these distractions to increase artificially the time needed to finish them. Unless I play 24/7 finishing the main quests in Uncharted1,2 and 3 before U4, Fallout 4 and AC S come along is already looking impossible. Make games short, but sweet and interesting!

Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite PlayStation Game of 2014?

Compudoc

Voted for DAI, but also loved AC4 , Infamous SS and Tomb raider.
Destiny beta put me to sleep repeatedly, so I am glad I did not bother with that overrated piece of c.... (Just IMOO)
Actually really liked AC Unity, but played it on XB1, so does not apply here.
Finally, Although FC4 is at times really frustrating (sorry WWF, but in-game I really hate honey badgers, Eagles and all the other assorted wildlife that continually ruin my day), at its best it provides an amazing sandbox experience

Re: Talking Point: Is This Gaming's Most Disappointing Ever Year?

Please take your political views elsewhere thanks -Tasuki-
For the record : I have enjoyed Ps4 and XBox One games a great deal , Ac4, Tomb Raider, Thief, Forza5, FFXIV , Infamous SS, Wolfenstein and recently Alien Isolation, Shadow of Mordor and yes even AC Unity have provided amazing distractions from daily drudgery and stress.

Having started playing computer games like Zork, temple of Apshai , Rise of the Valkyries and Star Trek on a Tandy TRS80 Model 1 with 4 and16 Kb of RAM I can honestly say that my years of computer entertainment enjoyment never depended on technological advances but on quality programming and much more on refreshing game mechanics than on graphical wizardry.
As such, GTA5, Watch Dogs and especially Destiny have been , to me at least rather disappointing

Re: Soapbox: Why Destiny Still Has a Lot to Prove to Me

Compudoc

Got bored pretty fast in the beta (PS4) and gave up after reaching the level cap.
Cancelled pre-order and started playing Borderlands 2 again on PS3, which I am thoroughly enjoying...again
Bungie please take note: not everybody wants a hardcore gaming experience and 3-hour missions for people who have a real life are just not acceptable to me
