@HonestHick HD2 would have been huge just on PS5, but yes its bigger being on PC. It's smart to release all online games on both. I play on PC, not every Sony game is huge on PC. Returnal bombed. Returnal is awesome, but it failed on PC. Just because one game hits on PC, does not mean every game does.

@HonestHick Well I actually played Cod and saw the people playing on platforms and most were on console. Mobile has been huge for years. Nobody said people are not playing on PC. If you think in todays age of people having no money, that insanely expensive PC's are going to be the future, you are nuts.

@CrispyMango92 Sony is remastering Zero Dawn before Infamous 1-2? Killzone 1-3? Whoever runs Sony is under some voodoo spell and thinks Horizon is the greatest IP that has ever existed.

Sony's service is meh, but it feels more sustainable. Gamepass is obviously not sustainable, since they are debating putting Cod on the service. I am a massive enthusiast gamer and I struggle to get through enough games to make Gamepass or Extra worth it.

Honestly, if you need any more proof that 90 percent of people are idiots, look no further than this ultimate team garbage. Paying real money, for digital goods, nothing is dumber than that. EA sports games, which are the entire company, barely get better, but still print money. All their single player games are just for the hell of it and I am not surprised they want to put ads in them.

@cuttlefishjones I doubt it. I love Evil With 1 and 2. Ghost Wire is a 7 but its cool. Tango never made money, ever. Bethesda was bought for Starfield, Fallout and Elder Scrolls, with Doom as a bonus. The other studios were always going to be axed.

@BlaizeV I agree with the too much story and cutscene stuff. So much spending goes into stupid story and cutscene garbage. Just give me games.

@Sifi MS is dog doodoo. I get part of what you said, but MS is in huge trouble as a gaming company. Good thing they print money on AI tech that will never pan out.

MS sucks, but more blame goes to the morons who didn't buy Evil Within 2. It sold horribly and is a fantastic game. Blame gamers, sometimes they are the problem.

@Ralizah Gravity Rush bombed. Team Ico took 10 years to make Last Guardian, it also bombed.

@sanderson72 Everyone laments the closing of Sony Japan, but nobody bought their games. I did, but probably you did not. I bought Gravity Rush 2 day one, did anyone else? I also bought Motorstorm 1-3, did anyone else? I feel like a lot of people complaining about their closing, didn't actually buy their games. I know Evolution made Motorstorm, but it still tracks.

They need to do what Marvel did, make every game an advertisement for the next game. EA makes no games at this point anyway so no skin off any self respecting gamers back.

@DennisReynolds Actually I own PC, Xbox and Switch. In no way am I saying Sony is beyond criticism, but this site is infested with anti Sony nonsense. Taking down the game for sale in countries is messed up, but requiring an account in the EU and NA is not some insane, beyond the pale evil move.

@Toot1st Nobody is buying Square games.

If Square is not bought, they may actually go under. Their games don't sell. FF7 part 2 is doing horrible. Putting it on PC and Xbox ( it can't run on Switch) would not have mattered. Mainstream audiences are not buying what Square is selling.

Given how poorly the majority of Square titles sell, I doubt Sony is losing sleep over this.

I love Sly, but no chance they ever go back to it. People need to realize, Sly sold a million or 2 copies at best. It's no juggernaut. Only chance of a new sly is giving it to a new team. I actually think Sony should invest in smaller revivals of those older games. That sell at maybe 40 bucks.

PC gamer said the revenue of Cod was 59 percent on console in 2023. I doubt in one year, it has jumped by 30 percent.

God of War sold 20 million on Playstation, 3 million on PC.

Blizzard is why PC revenue is high. WoW is only available on PC. Cod is growing on PC, don't dispute that, but it does not sell twice as much on PC. No chance in hell that is true.

@Jamesblob Sony is worst developer but God of War 2018 has an overwhelmingly positive review score. The most vocal people are not always the majority.

Not a fan of accounts. But this is such an overblown issue. PSN accounts are free and many game devs, even beloved ones like Capcom and Square made me make accounts to play their games.

@HonestHick no they do not make more on PC than PS5 and Xbox combined. Call of Duty's revenue is more evenly split: 59% console, 26% PC, and 15% mobile as of 2023. Stop just lying.
