Lies of P PS5 PS4

The name of the Lies of P sequel Round8 Studio has in the works may have made its way online from a trademark filing made by publisher Neowiz.

For those who have finished the excellent Souls-like title, what the follow-up might be about has already been teased in an ending cutscene, so the name of the sequel is somewhat of a spoiler.

The trademark filing is for the name "Wonders of O".

This would suggest Round8 Studio is indeed theming the next game around The Wizard of Oz, as teased at the end of Lies of P. In the cutscene, Dorothy's iconic red shoes are seen, presumably worn by the girl herself, as she looks out over Krat. View it below:

As of May 2026, it was stated Round8 Studio is in the "full development phase" on the sequel, so it's likely still a few years away. Still, with this new piece of information, it really does seem like we're getting that The Wizard of Oz game.

It'll follow up on one of the best Dark Souls titles not made by FromSoftware, which was expanded afterwards with the Overture DLC. "Lies of P feels like the result of a developer having already taken multiple stabs at the Souls-like genre, so it's impressive that Round8 Studio has accomplished so much on its first attempt," we said about the base game. "By fully embracing its dark take on the Pinocchio story, it sets itself apart from anything else available."
