Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic. One of the only fighting games I absolutely love. It's really a party brawler. The ragdoll physics provide so many hilarious moments, but the game modes and levels add so much variety and replayability. The game isn't just a simple punch and kick game- there are several moves to master. Up to four players can play against each other in a wacky free-for-all or team up for a wild game of Capture the Fish. EVERYONE should have this game.
The more I think about it, the more I think Sony is going to emphasize game streaming and content creation. I mean they renamed the "share" button the "create" button. I think they recognize the importance of this. If they're going all-in on the idea, expect lower latency and integrated tools for content creators- no more need to hook your console up to a PC to create pretty overlays. That would make the PS5 the console of choice for streamers.
@themightyant "Game Pass really shines a light on brilliant smaller, often indie, titles that may otherwise be easily ignored."
The very same can be said about PlayStation Plus. So many great indie games I would never had thought about buying.
And, you also have PlayStation Now which offers over 800 games to play. 800.
@Jacko11 I believe the PSVR won't work with the new Dual Sense controllers. But, you can use your Dual Shock 4 and Move controllers with it.
The PS5 will improve the video quality of PSVR titles, but maybe only a tad more than the PlayStation 4 Pro does.
They announce they will continue to work on PSVR games for the PS5 but you'll need the old controllers to play.
Then again, maybe the new camera can track the Dual Sense somehow.
What I would love to see is that they make a surprise announcement that the new Astrobot is indeed playable in PSVR. Or, better yet, the new Ratchet and Clank. Wishful thinking.
Perhaps they reveal their plans for the PS5VR? I want to say it will be wireless which would mean either 1) it will be entirely standalone with inside-out tracking which would make it pretty expensive, or 2) it will feature low-latency wireless video streaming.
One other thing I think would be a smart move for Sony is that they strike up a partnership with Twitch and develop robust tools for content creators/streamers- allowing for custom overlays, interactive chat, and low-latency broadcasting (among other things).
More wishful thinking, but I hope they revive the SOCOM series with built-in clan management, leagues, ladders, and custom stat-tracking.
@Ridwaano they already have PlayStation Now which has many more games, they're downloadable, and they have been adding more new titles to their lineup. There may be a few more brand-spanking new games with Game Pass, but PlayStation Now has several hundred more titles to choose from, and it's streamable.
It's a huge revenue stream for Sony. I highly doubt they'll ditch it right now. It was nice to game for free before they decided to follow Microsoft's lead when started charging gamers to play online. But, it's relatively cheap and I have a huge library of great games that I still have to get around to playing. As long as they use that revenue to improve their services, I'm fine with paying it. I'm sure Microsoft already has planned something to sell its users in place of Games with Gold.
@MistressTonberry I almost feel as if they would just add a game to the lineup before they choose to replace one of them. If they do that, people would soon forget and continue to complain as they often do.
@Cornaboyzzz That's a good point. I wonder how much consideration Sony lends to their decisions to make the games available on PS+. I know if I had PlayStation Now, I would feel as though I was getting little value this month. Sure, if you drop Now or if the game is removed from the service, you'll still be able to play it with PS+. But, still, that's kind of a one-off scenario.
These games are actually pretty good. But, essentially they are two different kinds of sims. They should have done one of these games this month and the other next month. It would be a good rule to try to do a platformer/action/adventure game every month and then whatever else whether that be a puzzle game, sports game, sim, strategy, etc. I've been happy with PS+ for a long while now- I'm still trying to play through a thick back catalogue of games. Right now, I'm playing through the Vanishing of Ethan Carter. Really solid game. But all the kiddos probably whined about it being a PS+ title as they do with everything. If I want the big AAA titles, I'll go out and buy it. I like most of the games that PS+ serves me up for free. These are two games I would have never chosen to buy, and really aren't what I normally play, though Jeff Gerstman from Giant Bomb had talked up City Skylines in the past- so, I'm looking forward to giving that one a try more.

Re: Poll: Would You Still Pay for PS Plus if Online Multiplayer Was Free Elsewhere?
Also, there are a lot of games on PlayStation where you don't need PS+ to play online.
