@Bluemoon2008 that’s not the point though. You might only watch 2 series a month on Netflix but you’d complain if they suddenly removed a huge chunk and added half of that.

It’s about value for money and PS Plus premium isn’t value for money.

On the other hand….gamepass IS value for money.

I can’t believe I paid for a year of premium back in the autumn sale. Lesson learned. PS Plus is absolute garbage. Never again.

They can compare it to whatever they want. I don't consider it to be a competitor to my PS5.

I will get a switch 2 day one and I know what I'm going to get from the system. Excellent, polished, original games.

Definitely. I pre-ordered this morning with Alza here in Cz. I thought it was a great presentation and it seemed to be like they listened to customers gripes about switch 1 and improved on literally everything.

Good lord some of the comments here from people trying to convince themselves they made a good purchase with the pro. 'I'm so happy I have a pro'. Good! It's a great machine but it's not for everyone. It's almost like they are trying to start a console war with base PS5 owners

@KnightRider1982 right but those are character models not the graphics of the game in general. There are some weird ones…like Heyman, Chyna but some of them also look amazing…majority of them. Then…the actual graphics in gameplay etc is great

@KnightRider1982 What? How can the graphics look bad on 2K25? That makes no sense. The graphics are great and I don't really know how they can be improved. What are your expectations?

The classics collection on premium really doesn't update enough. Really poor for the amount of money we pay.

@thefourfoldroot1 good for you but it’s a business and there simply isn’t the interest. Especially at the price point it is and the pretty tame release schedule.

A lot of people want to justify their purchase and psvr2 isn’t bad by any means but the issue is and always will be the same….VR isn’t and will never be what people thought/wanted it to be.

It’s not the future. It’s fun to have the odd experience and to show visitors but that’s about it.

Most people saying no are probably not old enough to appreciate true SEGA.

This would be amazing. If Ubisoft and EA can do it with their boring yearly franchises why can’t SEGA be an option for those who would appreciate it?

So to summarise. It’s good but not worth the money if you already have a ps5.

I had PSVR in the past and also a quest 2 and enjoyed it here and there but i don't have either anymore and im hesitant to get PSVR2....persuade me

My main issue is fear of support for it going forward I suppose but reviews like this plus the fact games are being released on ps plus does tempt me.

@LifeGirl Sony haven’t failed an entire console generation yet. Nintendo have done it twice. Once with GameCube and once with Wii U. So they are due another dud after switch.

I played a bit of the original back in the day but never really stuck with it.

Such a shame. I love magazines and it seems the last remaining manstream mags left are Edge and Retro Gamer.

I sub to Retro Gamer and have tried many times to enjoy Edge but I can't get into it. It's too artsy hipster up its own arse for me.

Play was a nice read.

At least there are indie options out there like fusion, switch gamer and the soon to return Sega Mania magazine.

I think I’m done with plus now. It’s not so much that it’s a bad service….it isn’t. I don’t have that much time to play so usually end up not playing that much on it.

It’s better to buy the games I 100% want to play.

For retro the list is too small anyway so will just use emulation on series s.

Annoyingly I bought Train Sim World 4 and 2000 on Xbox and no longer have the console. I’m planning to get another in the future but for now I might buy this on PS5. If you buy TSW 5 can you then buy the DLC from all previous versions? I really wanted the Blackpool DLC for TSW 4.

I very rarely buy games on release. Actually the last one was probably last gen. I’m going to get this. I loved Astro’s playroom and I have no doubt this is gonna be an experience up there with Mario Odyssey.

Everyone buy it! Then hopefully Sony realise that fun, original, innovative single player experiences have a place in today’s world.

It’s garbage.

I bought a one year sub when it came to Xbox and about 2 weeks after I did they removed loads of the better games (mortal kombat, dizzy games etc).

The layout is also poor.

I enjoyed the first one and before the storm but I tried life is strange 2 on ps plus recently and quit during episode 2.

It was just so boring. So many mundane tasks in the house etc

It’s one of the best games ever made.

If you’re young and have never tried it….you’re in for a treat.

I don’t think anyone expected too much from this anyway.

It could be worse. Imagine if your only console was switch and your announcements are bad ports and a bunch of toys 😄

@Max_the_German but there aren’t parallels. Microsoft have acquired a ton of big studios to address the problem of first party. The games won’t won’t be developed overnight.

@tangyzesty if it gets to that stage then yes you’re right but at the moment it’s 4 games. We will see. If all the games end up going to PS5 then certainly there would be no point going with Xbox unless you are someone who’s gonna get through tons of game pass games and plays all day.

@NattyKing well I can’t argue with those points regarding available time and price decreases. I’m 40 and don’t have time to play that often so it might even be better for me to just buy games. That said…I think Xbox turning into the new SEGA will not be good for gaming as a whole. Nintendo are separate. Sony needs someone pushing them.

@NattyKing every service has a peak though it doesn’t mean it’s not a viable prospect moving forward. They have a user base now they can use their newly acquired studios and previously acquired studios to start making games for it. I’m sure they didn’t expect to have memberships increasing every year forever 😂 There are only so many people interested. The task is keeping them interested. New subs will come as I say as it will be the place to play new games for €15 a month rather than $70 a game playing it elsewhere.

@tangyzesty the thing is I think it was the plan all along and it's a very smart move by microsoft.

They have the studios right now than Playstation needs. They can put their games on playstation but keep the moniker 'Xbox is the best place to play' and have the selling point of 'yes you can play our games on PS5 for $70 or you can get them day 1 on game pass'.

The only thing that would signal the writing on the wall for xbox as a console would be if they took game pass to ps5 but that would be a huge mistake and I don't see it happening.
