I sold my ps5 before these new plus tiers came in (needed the money at the time) and I’m definitely tempted to buy one and go back. Quite a lot of stuff on it I haven’t played.

As far as comments on here regarding game pass and why ps plus isn’t getting the same attention. Isn’t that because game pass has day 1 games and ps plus doesn’t? Unless I’m missing something and it changed.

@naruball so what is false about it? The USP of game pass is day 1 releases. PS plus doesn’t have that and now Jim Ryan is scrambling trying to explain why.

It’s not a game pass competitor then is it…at all. It’s just plus and now together.

Game pass is a good deal because games are put on there day 1.

I've been waiting for it to go on ps plus/GWG or gamepass for ages. I want to play it but I know as soon as I do buy it it's going to appear for free.

It's not really about whether you play call of duty or not. The fact is xbox will be market leader within 3 years. PS only gamers will probably end up buying into the ecosystem.....not necessarily buying an xbox but there will be gamepass apps on tv etc

It doesn't change anything for me personally. Companies switching places as market leader is nothing new. Playstation still have their amazing first party titles and can innovate.

Lol. Sony has a market cap of 143 billion dollars as of January 2022.

Microsoft is 2.2 trillion dollars.

Yeah because Sony woouldn't have done the same if they could. They are just in a different league financially. It's small change for microsoft.

As for the morale of it all....well we all remember Sony enticing square and nintendo players losing one of their biggest games to playstation.
