@Stale-Bread I wanted so badly to like P5 but after 25 hours I was done with no internet to continue. It’s what put me off BG3 for almost a year. I thought I just didn’t like TBC but BG3 grabbed me from the start and now I have 2 complete playthroughs. I find it interesting and love discussing “great” games that click for some people and others that don’t
@IntrepidWombat Jedi survivor, although fun, became unplayable for me with the blurred graphics, stuttering and frame rate drops. I played order a year or two after it came out when it was polished and had a good time. Got the platinum. Maybe I will go back to survivor eventually but games should be released in the state Stellar Blade was.
Put in a solid 3 hours this morning. Beat the second boss. My thoughts so far are I’m really liking it. The combat is great. I don’t notice the “delay” and it evolves quickly with new moves brought on at a rapid pace as you upgrade skills. Enemy variety so far has been great and you can see there are a lot more to come. The exploration is way better than it thought would be. I actually like that there isn’t a map at all times, I haven’t even unlocked it yet. I’m organically trying to find every nook and cranny. Items and currency are plentiful but you have to hunt for them, though it doesn’t feel tedious. Overall, great start. I can see myself running a new game plus fully loaded right after beating it.
@Anke this is the reason I can’t go back and play Bloodborne again until they patch it or remaster it. I’ve tried a few times but it feels way too slow.
@PixelDragon I also loved Days Gone. I platinumed it and still couldn’t get enough. Riding on your bike and coming up randomly on a Horde was thrilling every time. My only complaint would be the story went on just a little too long. After the “secret” ending I am itching for a Days Gone 2
Bloodborne
TLOU Part 2
Arkham Knight
The Witcher 3
RDR2
Sekiro
Dark Souls 3
Dark Souls Remastered
God of War
Days Gone
Uncharted 4
Spider-Man
Hollow Knight
Resident Evil 2 Remake
Ragnarok, Elden Ring, Ghost of Tsuhima I played on PS5 so I won’t count them. Just like I wouldn’t include TLOU, Skyrim and GTAV because I played them on PS3 first. Great generation. I hope it gets phased out soon though. It’s holding back the PS5
@cburg I created an account just to respond to your post. I never liked turn based. I’ve tried D:OS 1 and 2, persona 5 and a few others. Couldn’t get into it. Got Covid around the time this came out so I figured I’d give it a shot and what I’ll tell you is it’s better than anything I could’ve imagined. I’m so hooked. I do use guides to help with my build because I’m still really raw when it comes to turn based but I can’t get enough of it.

Re: Housemarque's New PS5 Game Will Be a Little Less Punishing Than Returnal
@Nyne I liked returnal a lot but after about 50 hours I couldn’t get passed the 3rd boss and bounced off

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Star Wars Outlaws?
I bought AC Odyssey and Valhalla a couple years after they both came out and really enjoyed them. I’ll do the same with this

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Rise of the Ronin?
@colonelkilgore although I felt like the story in Days Gone was a bit too long, I couldn’t stop playing it.

@JohntheRaptor they already honored Kevin Conroy with this being the last thing before he died. It is 100% him.
